Spent $93 bucks for 18, quite slow. My vehicle was almost stolen in the parking lot as the lock cylinder was tempered with and the door scratched. I now need to replace the cylinder and lock cover. Not the best bang for your buck course. Super overpriced and now compromised for security concerns. Put your bar and any anti theft device you have.

I have been playing at Emerald Links for years as it is the closest course to my residence. I played there yesterday and that will be my last round there. The lady at the pro shop, not someone that I have ever seen before. She was extremely rude to me and my guests. She should be the last person in a customer service job. The tee boxes are a nightmare and the course is over priced.

I have never been so appalled by the customer service. The two managerial women treated us so poorly. As someone who is trying to get into the sport as a fun hobby I have never had my day ruin so quickly. They had one cart person servicing the entire course and they were not fully equipped. Towards our 9th hole we had an embarrassing encounter with the the two managerial ladies. I was made to feel so ashamed I had to leave. I can say I will never return to this course.

I played this course twice… first and last. Over priced goat path. Greens were punched. The tee boxes had to be the worst tee boxes I’ve ever played on… ever. Uneven and all sand. The members obviously don’t own a divot repair tool or are too lazy to bend over. On the east course… a mini putt had less gimmicky holes. Save your money.

Booked 5 groups at $90 per person. Did not get any notice of airated greens and fairways. Tee boxes were in bad shape and on downhill slopes. Mini putt pin locations and rock hard sand. Greens filled with divots.. very underwhelming for the price. Wish we played somewhere else.

Played the day after heavy rain and the course (especially the East course) doesn't drain well. It's a flat course and easily walked but when it's cart path only it slows everything down to a crawl. Greens had been cored and were bumpy but the speed was fairly consistant, however some of the tee boxes were a disgrace for a course that charges $75 to walk. A lesson on course etiquette for some would be nice i.e. replace divots and pitch marks. Can't see me playing there any time soon.

Course was in good condition but the play was a bit slow. Greens are good with lots of insulations. Unfortunately pin placements are odd. Sort of like playing mini putt.Did not find us was worth the $90 to play. $9.00 hot dogs were a little excessive.Won't be playing there again anytime soon

Playing here for over 3 years, and would live to see some upgrades done: bunker rakes look like ones from original opens, most of the broken, with mist tines and wood handles wasting away; a couple of bridges sag from age, never crossed more than one at a time; often don't play bunkers as they are packed, never fluffed; could use some sand bottles for players to carry on their round to fill in divots on fairways and tee box. Other than those comments the course is challenging and enjoyable, the fairways are well graded, little standing water, and upgrades to some tee boxes are well delivered. Recommend for sure.

2 stars is accurate.Pros: Course is in good shape, fairways are nice, greens are pretty decent and overall layout is fairly solid.Cons: Massively overpriced at $69 after tax to walk this course. The tee boxes here are the worst in the city and that is saying A LOT. I genuinely mean that, these tee boxes are the worst I've seen for any quality/cost of any course in Ottawa currently. For $69 to walk the fact that there isn't 1 flat tee box with grass to hit from from the whites is brutal and they deserve flak for this. This alone has stopped me from coming back. They also offer no twilight discounts and charge $45 after tax for 9 holes.Overall very overpriced, I could accept it with better tee boxes but without 2 for 1 green fees or 25% vouchers it really isn't worth it. I've played here a couple times this year and they aren't even attempting to fix the tee boxes. Hard sell to play here now.

I usually play here half a dozen times a year but not anymore. I forgot to cancel a tee time and they charged my card for the foursome. Most courses send out a reminder in advance but I understand, however why start this process with out even a warning. I am not a repeat offender for this type of behaviour.I will bet for all of the times I have played there and the course was in poor condition, overloaded with golfers or they are punching greens and fairways that they would not accept a charge back from a patron. The green fee is too much for the conditions that it usually in, the amenities are poor and dilapidated. They have a temp tee box on #1 for the east that wrecks the playing experience for the hole. Buyer beware for the same treatment at their other 2 courses. I reached out to talk to someone and received a polite response that my concerns were being passed on to the director but have received radio silence. Disappointment for sure , and the Patterson conglomerate will not miss my 5-6 rounds a year but I will not be back, there is a lot of other places that charge a fair price for the golf experience . I will give it 2 stars because most of the staff have been pleasant to deal with over the years.

The east 9 was so tight the only club I could hit with out losing a ball was my putter, west 9 was extremely reasonable but I didn’t break 90 so still too tight.Great staff though and course in good shape

To be charging over $90 for 18 holes with cart for this course in its current condition is beyond absurd. This used to be such a well maintained course. Played 18 this past weekend... the greens are aerated and not filled....so your ball bounces all over the place... and the tee boxes are absolute garbage. Not one is level and covered with grass. I've played better tee boxes at a driving range. Always looked forward to playing a few rounds here every year, but definitely won't be back until the quality of the course improves... especially at the ridiculous prices.

Course is in excellent shape! I'm looking forward to playing more this season. Thanks for the hospitality.
