The project entailed replacing the carport, driveway and various repairs to the house and an adjacent shed. The work was very well-planned by the company president, Jacob Huyer. The materials used were of a very high quality and the Huyvan crews were professional and highly-qualified. Communications with the company principal and his team leaders were excellent from start to finish. It has been a gratifying experience. We are very pleased with the results and recommend this company without qualification.

The eaves thorough replacement was the first job we had with Huyvan's. They were highly recommended to us by a neighbour who has had all her home improvements and repairs done by them. The crew was respectful, polite and informed us of the progress of the job. They consulted us when they encountered an unexpected problem and they were able to make the required changes to achieve the expected result. We appreciated that they did small touch-ups to work that had been done in years past by other contractors. When the job was finished they left the premises as they had found it. We were very pleased with the work and the service. We have engaged them for another project.

I asked for a couple of quotes, one for eavestrough, the other for a bathroom. Had to ask a second time for the eavestrough quote. The price seemed high compared to other quotes so I asked about it, no response. They never did send the other quote. Guess they didn't want my business.

We contracted Huyvan Construction Ltd to complete a major bathroom renovation. We had gutted the bathroom down to bare studs including the removal of the old fixtures. We quickly determined that the repairs required were well beyond our scope of expertise. We contacted Huyvan Construction to provide a quote for work to be done.We were immediately impressed with Jacob's knowledge of all facets of home repairs/ construction. He knew exactly what was required to repair the underlying structural issues caused by years of water damage. He was attentive and responsive from the first time we met with him until the job was done.The completed work was above our expectations with meticulous attention paid to the details large and small. If you are looking for a company with experience, supburb workmanship and excellent customer service... I highly recommend Huyvan Home Improvement (Huyvan Construction Ltd.). After the tornado of 2018 my siding was damaged and my soffits and fascia were ripped away. The owner, Jacob, sat down with me and explained what they would do, how they would do it, and what it would cost. I was pleased when my insurance company approved Huyvan. Throughout the whole process I met very accomodating, professional employees. The young men who worked on my home answered all my questions with patience, politeness and respect. They worked with precision and attention to detail. There were a couple of surprises; each was handled with the same attention to detail. They were lovely to work with. Thank you Steve, Jon, Khung and Nav, and a special thanks to Bharathi and Dorothy, the ladies in the background who keep things on track.
