STAY AWAY FROM THIS SHOP! Recently went there to get my front lip looked at to see if they could replace and install a new one. They said they can fix it and put one on no problem after looking at my vehicle. Few days later came back to get it installed which they said would take 45m I came back over an hour later and my car was still sitting in the same spot. 3pm appointment which they said would take 45m turned into 3 hours. That’s not even the worse part. After getting the lip put on not even 24h later I was driving on the 401 and it ended up popping off and I had to get off the highway and zip tie the front lip so it stopped dragging (thank god I had zip ties.) Called back they said to bring it back in. Brought it back in and asked if I can get some sort of refund since it’s now damaged thanks to them installing it wrong and was told no and that they’ll put it back up. He ended up bringing me in the back to look at my car while it was on the hoist and said he’s unable to put the lip back on because of the bumper cover being damaged and that I needed a new bumper in order to securely lock the lip in place which they said would be $1400. The bumper was like that originally when he looked at it the first time and said they could do it no problem, so when they were mid install and realized they couldn't do it properly, why even accept the job and just say you can’t install it because of the bumper. Instead they installed it incorrectly to where it ended up popping off on the 401 going at fast speeds. I then asked for some sort of refund since I am now where I was at in the first place with a broken lip that isn’t attached properly. They said they would not give me a refund on the part even though they were the ones to install it wrong and out of a $600 bill they only gave me a refund of $120 for the labour and now I’m stuck with a broken lip that is zip tied to my car because they installed it wrong and didn’t give me even half a refund. CROOKS!

STAY AWAY!!!My encounter with Grants Auto Shop was unsatisfactory. While the technical staff exhibit commendable proficiency, the conduct of the proprietor, Grant, leaves much to be desired. Two years ago, I experienced an incident where additional, unauthorized work was performed on my vehicle, resulting in inflated charges. This pattern of behavior appears to extend beyond my experience, as similar grievances have been voiced by other patrons. Despite this, I decided to revisit the establishment this week. Regrettably, there was a lack of transparency regarding the pricing, and upon completion, I was presented with a bill considerably higher than competitors' rates. Subsequent inquiries with Hyundai Dealership and another establishment revealed substantially lower charges, with assertions that Grant's pricing practices exploit customers. I advise exercising caution when dealing with Grants Auto Shop, as Grant's business practices appear to prioritize extracting additional funds from customers rather than providing equitable services.

They are bunch of con artists, thugs and very unprofessional !! HOW? here is the story!!! Please give attention for your own BENEFIT.I sent my 1979 VW bug convertible for a fix in its fuel injection system. They kept the vehicle for over 4 months, i called numerous times their constant response. "the part is being shipped from the manufacture its with Purolator" whole summer was gone with the same answer. One fine morning Mr. Grant (owner) called he said that part (mass airflow sensor) is not being manufactured by VW or its vendor anymore it needs to be ordered which may take ages, alternative solution is to put a carburetor which he said they cant do.... NOW please take your bug back otherwise I will charge you for storage. His tone was condescending and harsh without realizing he kept the vehicle for months with zero amount of practical work on it.The ordeal didn't end here, he slammed me with a fat bill of couple of hundred $ stating he did the safety checks (just checks not work) how on the earth one can do safety work if car engine isn't getting started, plus he changed the pigtails wow... that's it... he threatened not to let the car go and forcefully charged me the bill. Here is the saga. My story might look different from the other reviews but its a fact.. i am available to validate this all. please feel free to write me.Please think twice before seeing this place especially if you have a classic car to restore.
