Prices are too high. Campus Home Hardware under previous ownership was a my go-to neighbourhood hardware store. The customer service was excellent and prices were a little bit more than market but fair.In Nov. 2023 I dropped in to get some standard #10 plastic wall anchors. They were $4 for TEN!

Used to be the epicenter of home improvment, cluttered and filled with everything. Now its streamlined and lacking stock. You ruined a classic hardware store to suit the suburban homeowner. I wont be returning.

The staff are super friendly end helpful. I just wish the store had a better lay out. I feel it's super congested, which makes it appeared cluttered and messy ,( which it is not )I have been able to locate the things I've needed, which shows they stock things typical to home hardware

The supervisor was rude to me and gave me misleading information when I asked him about an item I was looking for. He told me to check another store on Woodlawn road. I ended up wasting 30 minutes of my time and gas on my vehicle. Don't take any suggestions or guidance from him. Many people have complained about him. He needs to retire.

Only been here twice and won't be going back. Both occasions found the younger staff have no customer service, no etiquette. However one staff member who is elderly is very pleasant, sorry don't know his name.

I have been visiting this store since it opened in Camus Estates many moons ago. Al and Helen were amazing with their expertise and friendliness over the years. I am sad to say that the store has lost its charm after Al and Helen moved on. I visited on Friday and found the service unfriendly and there was an unwillingness to help.

Absolutely zero customer service for myself or a elderly man just looking for contact cement. HH use to be one of my go to stores for anything hardware related. The past 5-6 yrs their level of customer service has lowered beyond Canadian tire. Thought that was impossible. Their prices are outrageous compared to other hardware stores. The staff are not educated on what they even sell anymore. I'd give zero stars if possible.

Customer service at this store used to be amazing. Now since JL's bought it, it's pretty pathetic. No one knows what they sell (including an older gentleman at Christmas that said "Yes, we sell pressure treated wood" when I asked if they sold Christmas tree preservative that goes in the water in a stand). Twice now, (after each lockdown has been over), I have got the run around when trying to return an online order. Both times I was given a different story on how to do the return and both times I was sent away and I had to return to insist upon their completing the return as it said to do in the onine order invoice. Pretty hard to shop elsewhere when JL's owns all 3 stores in Guelph.

This to be my go-to store in Guelph when the philosophy was customers matter. Now the staff are at the very least unpleasant and mostly downright rude. I predict this store will close as they have lost the best thing about it.

A 'smaller' home hardware then you're probably used to, but this place likely has what you're looking for and if you can't find it, the staff who work here are very helpful and friendly and knowledgeable. No complaints and this location definitely has that local feel to it.

I've thought about this review for a week now. I wanted to cool down before writing. Look at my reviews, most are 5 stars. I'm not a serial complainer.After a year long boycott of this store, I decided to give them another shot. Maybe they had fixed the issues that started my boycott in the first place.No. I was wrong.Misleading prices, bait and switch, whatever you want to call it. Every item I bring to the check out in this store, rings up higher than is displayed on the shelf. And it's not only me. The elderly lady in front of me was being overcharged by $4.50 for her item. Both of my items were wrong. One with no price at all and the other $2 higher.Line up's lengthen as the only 2 cashiers run back and forth confirming what customers are telling them.And what's posted on the door? The first thing I see as I walk up? HELP WANTED. I chuckle to myself. I'm not surprised.Andre, I presented my experience to you a year ago, for the exact same issues.You clearly have done nothing. Why should the community shop here? Why should we support you? We can't trust that we aren't being overcharged every single time we shop here.My boycott will continue. My silent protest. I don't go bad mouthing your stores but if anyone asks me, I tell them the truth.Shame.
