Purchased earrings from here for Christmas and never once were we told by a worker about the no return/exchange policy. When we went to exchange them that is when we were informed. Now we are out hundreds of dollars at the fault of an employees hand. Called customer service and got “I’m sorry”, I’m sorry doesn’t fix the hundreds of dollars we are out now. Will most definitely be our last purchase from here.

For repairs the most annoying experience possible. Needed a simple repair, a battery replacement of Micheal Hill watch, not repair savvy, looked online, everything online says to take it to a store and they will repair it for a fee. Looked up repair watch center and this location came up. Ok showed up, the lady took 20 min of some form filing which didn't work to tell me that actually they don't have a repair man and that they need to ship and it will take 3 weeks. Finally I left got it repaired elsewhere within 3 minutes for cheaper. All I can say is ooooof. Not upset they didn't have a repair guy on site. Annoyed how long it took for the staff to tell me time frame expectations. Wasted time

They will not let you try on earrings AT ALL. And earrings are FINAL SALE. It's like buying blindfolded. That sounds like such a backward way of selling. I understand that it is for hygienic purposes and safety reasons but they should find ways to sell their jewelry safe and hygienic. High-end stores like Maison Birks, David Yurman, Holt Renfrew are way more accommodating with their policies - trying on pieces and return policies. I was shocked to say the least that I can only look at the earrings I wanted to buy. And if I decide to buy I cannot return at all. These high end stores were the ones convincing you to try and they will sanitize it for you. This small town jewelry store is almost telling me you can look but you cannot touch. You touch, you buy.

My fiance purchased a ring to propose with and we came back to place a ring on order. He was given a display ring because he didn't know my size. When we came to place a ring on order in my size, the SA got confused and laughed at him saying "why did you buy a ring that wasn't the right size?"We ignored it then just came back because the ring was ready. They were very confused about what transactions they made because it wasn't all on Flexi or something and took the ring back. I don't get why they couldn't leave notes for each other.

Really pleased with the great service on Stone Rd., Michael Hill. Purchased a necklace, Jonalyn one of the sales associate, she is an exceptional sales woman that I ever dealt with, and also very pleased with the manager Wazma, that was helping us through the process.

I came in to see about a ring for my fiance and to ask how much it would cost to have my engagement ring sized. The man asked me for my ring and he immediately took it and started inspecting the diamond. I never asked him to do that. He said to me that's a cubic zirconia. I said no it isn't. He then started looking at the band, I told him it's sterling silver. He said no it isn't. I clearly showed him the markings on it which proves it's sterling silver he said that means nothing. He said he's been doing this for 35 years but yet he knew nothing. I will never return. I never asked him to inspect my ring or tell me his opinion on it. Listen to what the customer wants. Went to a way better jeweller had the ring sized no problem. Poor customer service at Michael Hill don't argue with customers!!

Came here a couple of days ago to buy Christmas gifts for my mom and my sister. Lily was great she was very knowledgeable and made the best recommendation. Great customer experience overall and I strongly recommend.

I cannot say enough about the wonderful and caring staff at this store. I came in looking for a very customized piece to gift to a family member and the store manger, Davy, did everything he possibly could to make it happen. He worked with me throughout the week and went absolutely above and beyond to help bring my vision to life. I am so incredibly grateful for his help and will definitely be recommending their services to family and friends!
