The woman working today, Monday, 2:00, was very, very unfriendly. We all have bad days but seriously, if you're going to work in a customer service job, a smile, a little kindness, something would be nice. I liked the clothes but I'm not sure I want to come from the south end to be faced with that kind of attitude.
I just now looked at the reviews...WOW... management needs to change their staff. I haven't shopped at Reitmans for years only because of location but I seriously will not be returning to be treated like that...she was awful.Judging by the responses to these reviews, nothing is being done to rectify this. Will NOT be recommending this store

The customer service I received today at Rietmans on Woodlawn Road in Guelph was absolutely horrible. The 3 staff members didn’t want to help Me what so ever , All 3 of them were the rudest customer service staff I have ever came across.I will never shop there again . I will be passing the word around also that Your staff is down right ignorant and useless. I could have got a person off the street to help me more than any of your staff did . Also their manners and greeting, well there was NONE .

I love Reitmans but the service I received last Thursday was horrific! I came to spend $ for a holiday party. The girl working was more interested in her phone even while I was paying! Not sure what was more important than a customer, but I certainly inconvenienced her with my presence and purchase. Next time I will go to Cleos/ Ricki's where I always get great service. Do better Reitmans!!!

October 21st afternoon visit to the store was a disappointment. Staff including the mature woman had no interest in assisting me with size selection. I asked some questions but there was total apathy.

This store needs a lesson in customer service! No one welcomes you as staff is to busy talking to eachother and most times complaining about what they have to do. No one has ever told me about store promotions and even with an arm full of clothes no one will set up a change room for you and if you need help don't bother thinking someone will help you. How these people have a job is beyond me.

Went into the store looking for something in particular. I was the only customer. Walked all over the store. Not once was asked if I needed any help. Staff too busy talking amongst themselves.
