Brought close to 70 great items in, they only took a few and I got $60 for probably $400+ worth of clothes. All great brands in great condition. I walk to their neighbor Platos Closet that is just a few doors down and they took over 30 of my items that Style Encore didn’t take and I got over $140. I was hoping that Style Encore Guelph would give more money and pay more attention to my good quality items. Definitely will stick to Plato’s since they actually see the value in my items, or would recommend going to the Burlington Style Encore. They seem to actually know what they are doing. This location does not even have a good social media presence compared to the other locations. I should have known better, guess you live and you learn! Don’t recommend this location.

Out of all of the style encores I’ve visited, this is the worst. The lady who worked today did not know anything about fashion. Many of their clothes are outdated.

I’ve never sold to Style Encore and would say most of the negative reviews are a result of sellers not being able to sell their clothes.
As a buyer, I can share that I always leave the store with a great deal on lightly used clothes, sometimes with the original tags still on. The employees have been consistently friendly to me and I’ve never had an issue.

really enjoyed my experience here! they took 12 of my items which made me really happy and paid a decent amount for them too. love the selection of clothing they have and the brands are amazing . Ive come here 3 times and the staff is always super friendly :)

They take in garbage and sell stuff for 70 yr olds plus ..i brought in NEW coats they said reason was a bit wear lmao.. ok not bringing ever stuff there again..i honestly think they dont look thrpugh stuff or are on something. They left my clothes over day in there to look at them now they stink like old perfumery. Good luck selling stinky old clothes. Very unprofessional overtalking employee! Behaviour was totally. disgusting to say the least.

I always find an amazing Piece to add to my wardrobe. The staff is friendly and helpful and the clothes they chose to sell are clean, good quality, and fairly priced.

Can't give it a rating based on a recent visit as it was closed at 2pm on a Saturday!!! We drove from an hour out of town just to visit this store, never thinking it would be closed on a Saturday afternoon.
I would suggest calling before you go as the hours on the website said it was open when we checked. Since we live so far away, we made the best of our trip & shopped elsewhere in Guelph.

man working was super friendly, got a changing room started for me, and after spending 20 minutes or so changing tops in this room I see their SECURITY CAMERA POINTS DIRECTLY ONTO THE MIRROR IN THE CHANGEROOM

This is my favourite store. The items are well-priced, the atmosphere is clean and comfortable, and the staff is always super-friendly! I do not live in Guelph, but I am happy to make the trip every month or so just to visit this amazing place!

Disappointed at the lack of care put forth when handling client's luxury items. I brought in a Saint Laurent bag, a style which currently retails for $2400, packaged in the box, in the dustbag, crossbody strap unbuckled and rolled to prevent kinks, and the tassle removed and layed flat to prevent bending.The store passed on it, and when I got it home the bag was just haphazardly thrown back into the box, strap and tassle scrunched around and on top of the bag, they couldn't even bother to put the bag back in the dustbag.If you're handling expensive luxury items that don't belong to you, you should really take note of how it comes to you, and take the extra 2 minutes to maintain that level of care.I’m updating my review to 1 star, because i wanted to give them another chance, just as a shopper at this point.Why exactly does a store that caters to young professionals close at 7pm, when most young professionals are only off work at maybe 5, if not 6-7pm? I should have googled the hours but figured a store meant for younger professionals would be open at times they’d be able to serve younger professionals. Well that was a bad choice, since this store isn’t even open as late as Platos. Absolutely ridiculous business model and from my past experience also terrible employees/salespeople.This store is literally a joke. I’m suprised they’ve stayed open this long.

Traveling from BC and it was worth the stop. I was warmly welcome by the owner. Satisfying ambiance to shop around. I founded exactly what I was looking fo and more. Very well managed and manicured store. Congratulations to everyone involved
