This is not a nice thrift shopping experience. People donate items. Sometimes there a set or has more than one piece. This store breaks up the set and charges for each piece. And the store is messy and unorganized . They use automated check our that can't scan there price tags. Etc.

Value Village is OK. The prices can be ridiculously high, especially given items are donated. It definitely takes time and a discerning eye to find true value pieces. Wear bike shorts and a tight tank top to be able to try on clothes. They have gotten rid of change rooms.

This store is known for selling secondhand clothing, furniture, and household items. Staff were really supportive . And yaa ,some people appreciate the affordable prices and unique finds, while others may have complaints about cleanliness or organization in certain stores. But in this store i found everything is good .

My hatred for this company could only be matched by the energy of one million dying supernovas and a watermelon Four Loko. My main beef: draping outside of most locations is a poster the size of an average American football field proudly saying “DONATE to a NONPROFIT here” only to be followed by the whisper of “...*Value Village is a for profit professional fundraiser…” with font that’s sized exclusively for the eyes of an elderly Texas Blind Salamander. We ache for a 1789 french style revolution on these companies for gouging the already empty pockets of vulnerable Canadians during an economic crisis. Oh, and for removing the fitting rooms. There’s special place on the 8th circle of hell just for that.Exactly like the ones in their owns stores, VV is just a bunch of silly little cockroaches and bedbugs. Please donate your (non-infested) goods to a local non-profit second hand store.

This is the worst value village I have ever been to. Absolutely everything is over priced. One example today, I saw a hat there with a $7.99 price tag but inside a dollarama tag for $2.00. The furniture is always disgusting, dirty, scuffed and over priced. Saw a coffee table missing the glass top piece. Shelves missing drawers, paint peeling off, etc. GO to the cambridge value village if you have to go.

Truly Great Value. Few of the donated products looks and indeed seems very new. Those are the “real deals” as the price is just a fraction to what you pay for the new product.

I had a fantastic shopping experience at Value Village! Their wide selection of affordable items, from clothing to household goods, impressed me. The staff was friendly and helpful, making my visit even more enjoyable. I appreciate the store's commitment to sustainability and recycling. I'll definitely be returning for more great deals and unique finds!

I'm sorry, but the store had a distinct scent of cat urine. I love VV stores and promote them when I can.

It’s a decent store; the staff are really friendly and helpful and it’s organized decently. My issue comes with the fact that there are no change rooms anymore. I went into the store today and there were people everywhere literally stripping down to their undergarments to try stuff on. I’m just not super chill about having to see that.

It used to be a decent and good store but in past few months the prices have increased out of proportion. Why would anyone pay so much money for a used donated item when you can get a brand new item for similar price range at Winners, Marshall's, etc. This is the costliest thrift store in Guelph. There are many other thrift stores like Goodwill, The Salvation Army, etc. I hope they get the point. The staff is still good and helpful which is the only thing that has remained unchanged there.

Very Costly Thrifty Store! Please understand that Thrifting is a necessity (not a luxury) for many needy families so put appropriate price on items that you have got for free!

A nice bright and large Valu Village. Great place to find a treasure or just thrift. Lots of nick nacks, clothes, furniture, and books.

Your average value village. The staff were friendly and I like the new self checkout very easy to use. Did find some treasures.

Went in for used boxing equipment and there wasn't anything. Then I remembered that my son needed long sleeved shirts so I got him 3. I was in & out in about 10 minutes. There was a big selection of shirts.
