This grocery store is convenient, and I usually have a positive experience with friendly staff. I buy my basics here, including their delicious egg bread.
However, in the past month, a strong bleach odor has developed, especially near the meat section. While cleanliness is important, the scent is overpowering and has caused me to avoid that area. The store should review its cleaning procedures and bleach use to ensure safety and comfort for staff and customers.

I had an exceptional experience at Zehrs on Clair Rd East thanks to Shiv and Anne. Shiv noticed I was searching for something and immediately offered help. He went above and beyond to find out which store carried the Salted Caramel Lindt chocolates I wanted — even calling Walmart to confirm stock! He also helped me find bear cookies for a baby shower, then assisted with checkout, bagging, and even loading my groceries into the car. Anne was equally helpful and kind at the register. Top-notch service — thank you both!

Has anyone noticed the regular fake security announcements? "Security to zone 3". Always makes me feel like I'm living in a dystopian future. Not exactly a place I want to shop at.

Outrageous prices. Staff are friendly here but the prices leave me sick to my stomach.
There's almost no vegetarian meat substitutions either, a staff member informed me this location opted to not carry it anymore? Ridiculous to alienate such a huge part of the Guelph community really.
