“The Pale Blue Dot has been a go-to place for all things sustainable, but my favourite part is how you are treated there. I asked about purchasing a set of linen napkins there and not only was I able to get the amount I needed for a large gathering, but some were made for me, to ensure I had enough. Can't thank you enough for your welcome space and treatment. See you soon!”
“Excellent place to shop. Super friendly Mangement and Employees!!!! Absolutely love shopping here!!!! Everytime we go there we leave with a new treasure. Highly recommended!!”
“Robert's Gallery of Antiques is like wandering through an Aladdin's cave, except instead of priceless gems, the store is filled with antique and nostalgic treasures: furniture, lighting, art, and so much more. The proprietor possesses an amazing knowledge of things past, and if you're looking for something particular he can either find it, or if he can't, recommend you to someone who can. Five Stars!!!!!”

“Beautiful little bookstore! Perfect for browsing and finding unique editions of books for great prices. The owner was lovely to talk to and fantastic at recommending books! Definitely recommend stopping by.”
“This place is incredible - one of the best selections of furniture I’ve seen at very fair prices, but also lots of other smaller pieces to look at. The owners are very sweet and knowledgeable. Highly recommend!”
“Lots of stuff. 4 floors! Unfortunately nothing caught my interest today. I'd hate to be there in a fire. The fire doors at the stairwell are propped open illegally and there are even displays in the stairwells which is completely illegal.”
“Disappointing Customer Service
The store itself is lovely, with lots of beautiful furnishings and interesting little treasures to browse through. I actually purchased two bracelets during our visit.
Unfortunately, the customer service left us very disappointed. While I was paying at the front counter, my friend, who is also a senior, asked if she could please use the washroom. She explained that she really needed to go. The response was simply that, due to problems in the past, they had a policy of not allowing customers to use the washroom.
I understand that businesses can have issues with washroom use, and I can appreciate having a policy in place. However, I do think there are times when a little discretion and compassion would go a long way. Here was a senior woman who was clearly in need of a washroom and certainly wasn't going to cause any trouble. She ultimately had to walk two blocks back to the restaurant we had just left, where they kindly allowed her to use theirs.
As I finished my purchase, the staff member explained that they had previously had some young girls become sick in the washroom and leave a terrible mess. I understand that would be frustrating, but it would have been nice if the situation could have been handled with a little more understanding rather than simply saying no.
There was also another customer-service issue during our visit. While I was waiting at the counter to be served, the staff member spent much of the time on her computer, talking to someone, rather than attending to me.
It's unfortunate because the store itself is beautiful and has some lovely things. But customer service is an important part of the shopping experience, and unfortunately, this visit left us feeling unwelcome and disappointed.”
“REAL ANTIQUES! A refreshing change from the usual junk shops masquerading as antique shops. A little pricy but the staff is friendly and much of the stuff is rare and unique. One of my favs.”

“Fantastic experience there. The store is absolutely fascinating with curios from all over. I have to say I splurged on the fossil and mineral sections several times, exceptional selections with rare fossils and minerals. I highly recommend the visit.”
