I recently visited Canadian Tire in Hamilton to buy a handheld vacuum cleaner they advertised as $169 with a $70 discount, bringing it down to $99. However, when I later went to Walmart, I found the exact same vacuum for $109 at regular price. It felt like Canadian Tire inflated the price just to offer a 'discount,' which was disappointing. Be careful with their promotions and discounts as they can be misleading. The staff are mostly helpful and friendly, though occasionally you may encounter someone less customer-focused. Overall, I’d recommend double-checking prices elsewhere before buying.

I've never had a bad experience at this location, the staff is very knowledgeable and willing to help. The item I was looking for was not on the floor and an employee named Deb went above and beyond to make sure I got the item I was looking for, from the warehouse. Really appreciate it.

Just would like to thank MICHEALA on thurs in paint. 1st time I have ever been approached and asked if I needed any help. Micheala was so professional and courteous it blew me away. Mixed my paint to perfection ? the MARITIMES blue mix was perfect. Thank you MICHEALA your manner and helpfulness made my day. Wish there was more MICHEALAS in this world. My wife was very pleased thank you ❤️???????

Workers don't have time for the common people.. everything seemed like a hassle. Then to be told the product you are looking for and bought from them before doesn't exist. Never heard of it, perhaps you are confusing it with something else.... update. Went today. Shop local.. looking for 2 items.
An oven plug and rear wiper for the car. Lots of variations for both but not what we needed. Got the "yep, this will fit, it's universal " only to find the wiper was too long and wouldn't have worked anyway.. Amazon for the win , again.

There was a mature guy in tbe paint department who knew a library about commercial paint. Not just CT either. Not to be outdone was a younger guy who recommended a sealer for loose fridge seals that saved me over $800. Thank you!!!?

Hamilton Barton Mall!! Best location I’ve ever been to, staff was so helpful and kind… definitely went above and beyond my expectations though in the end we didn’t locate the item I was looking for. I found a ton of other helpful items though.

This store’s employees have the worst attitude. You can tell there isn’t a very good work environment there. They act like they’re doing you a favor checking you out. The store itself is awesome. But the service culture there is absolutely awful.
