Worst experience ever with an employee by the name of Tanvir. I'm officially closing my CIBC account and transferring to TD Bank, due to her lack of customer service or just being ignorant and trying to make things more difficult. Regardless of the fact, I've been banking with CIBC for over two years now and have never dealt with such idiocy until today. So thanks to Tanvir at King Street CIBC location. I'm closing my account and I was just going to open anotber savings account. I will be taking my business elsewhere from now on ! Thanks for reading.

I’ve been trying to get in contact with a manager of this branch for weeks. The customer service is horrible, I just get hung up on. I have left messages for the manager and not once has anyone returned my call. I will be closing my bank account, horrible experiences every time.

I am more than satisfied with the service that Ms. Paramveer has provided me. She has been very helpful and very welcoming to every query. She has been providing me with relevant offers and services which have been very helpful to me. The thing that I have really liked about her is that she respects my time.

First of all a very big thanks to Abbas Hussan, manager of this branch. He helped me in getting my credit card as i was struggling a lot with it. I came here in August month since then i was facing issue in applying my credit card. I visited many branch but there was no response from anyone. This man Hussan helped me in a great way, he did all he can to get my card. Also, a very big and hearty thanks to Tanvir and Antonio who were very kind and was giving a perfect service to customer. Thanks a lot CIBC #1 king street West, Hamilton.

Had the worst experience with cibc. I tried to apply for cibc Costco Mastercard, and their system is terrible, failed a few times and they sent a letter to me to inform it declined but then emailed me that it succeed so I called cibc to double check and they tell me I have to start all over again, but the time that I wasted on waiting for their decision is more than a month and I delayed my shopping that need to be done by the card for more than a month. They are just wasting my time. Banking with cibc is just a waste of time.

Always reliable been banking since 2017 or 2018 not with a big amount but stick with them,Original branch is Sydenham in Dundas. Had dispute with a former landlord they provided the paper trail,just today took a chance in buying euro coz I I did few day will take days to be ready more locations like this same as the peeps more power

If i could give 0 stars, at this point i would. I have been calling this branch - both my financial advisor and the general line - for 1 week now. I have also been emailing. I'm so upset by the service i've received. I am doing my business banking with this branch, and I am not happy with this. Having an "out of office" email would be useful at this time, but no one seems to have that, so they're just ignoring calls and emails, because?

The pleasant part was a nice manager that greets you as you walk in and out. The wait in line was short. They gave me a hard time because I only had one ID to pick up my credit card even though that is what was divulged to me via phone call and they don’t accept ohip for some reason. Hoping the rest of my experience with CIBC goes smoother than that.

Helpful lady named Wendy at the front desk. she was amazing and made sure we were helped. She was thorough and went through the process of patiently helping us out. Line moved fast. No complaints
