Crunch fitness is a scam! This entire company is honestly horrible, and the customer service is even worse. Having to pay an “annual fee” of close to $60, PLUS your monthly fee (with tax) after only a month of being at the gym is ridiculous. I tried to cancel months ago and of course, they “don’t take cancellations over the phone or by email” which is so dumb so I told them I am unable to come in and I am cancelling my membership so please do not charge my card anymore and the worker goes on to explain how there’s a 30 day cancellation process, and if I didn’t tell them within the 30 days, I’ll also be charged for the next month?? I ended up having to file a stop payment through my bank to remove them from having access to my banking information. They already took the $56 out of my account for the “ annual fee” ?? And I was scheduled for another one on August 15. This company tries to sell that they have low pricing but it’s a scam for your money. Many people have experience this! Please do not go to the gym. Do not give them any of your money!

They are money hunger people. No good equipments, no respect . shows you good deals but they going to charge you other-way around. Even if you are closing you owe them. Even they also going to show you some new equipments coming in a week but in my gym membership time it never came. I'll suggest Goodlife fitness is way better even the fromt desk people are nice.

Garbage owner. Garbage managers. Garbage trainers. Garbage gym. Jared the owner had the audacity to admit he made a $930 mistake with my account, and tried to refund me less than I was owed despite the charges being laid out in black and white in my complaint to the better business bureau. Basic math is hard for some people I guess. I look forward to never having to communicate with anyone from this terrible organization again

Great place, lots of fun for kids! Great prices and food! Friendly and professional staff! Minigolf wait times too long as they are always busy with lots of people but they have other great activities to do and really good food and ice cream while you wait. Would highly reccomend!

One of the best location- good amount of equipment and weight rack- latest cardio machine, lot of dumbbell racks and machines.Locker and shower are clean.Only thing missing is a stretching machine/area so gave 4 stars. One suggestion would be to add more paper and sanitiser station for equipment cleaning- they are scattered at the exteme ends. would be good to add them in between.

This is my favourite Crunch location. Facility is huge, new and clean. Lots of equipment to choose from and the group workout classes are lit! Location is very busy in the evenings and can be intimidating if you’re a newbie, but the staff are courteous and friendly. E-checkin is seamless and there’s lot’s of parking available.

Having gone to the 5 Star that was at this location for many years I was pumped to see it was staying a (cheap) gym. Due to the 2 fires that happened (coincidentally) juuuuust before the spot changed hands, they had a great opportunity to fix up the place before opening. After pushing back the opening date numerous times by several months I thought "this place is gonna look great!". I finally got in there and see the entrance is very different - no more smoothie bar or nice service desk, just a giant crossfit area and a outdoor folding table for a desk. ("They pushed back the opening so much and didn't have time for the desk? Wow, they must have been working hard on the rest of the place!") I continue to the locker room, noticing they removed the water features for more crossfit stuff, I walked in and was SHOCKED! The locker rooms are EXACTLY the same! Not a single thing had changed. I then go to the cardio area up the stairs (same as 5Star) to get a lay of the land and I notice, aside from a change in layout and the removal of the smaller class room, it looks exactly the same. Same machines (maybe they replaced the really broken ones, but didn't add anything if you're not into crossfit). To top it off, they're not 24 hours anymore, they didn't fill a single pot hole in the parking lot (and you can practically fall through where the sewer grate is), and it's more expensive! They didn't even fix the old leaks in the ceiling!!!When I went to eventually cancel my membership because I was so disappointed with the place the manager came out, assumingly to offer me some sort of deal to stay, but instead he just tried to sell me a different, regular price base membership, then argued with me about BMIs, trying to catch me in a "gotcha" moment to convince me I still need their gym! Like wow, geez, I'm definitely going to want to sign back up now...Don't get me wrong, the desk staff were great! So nice, and very understanding. But their manager, that Lucas guy... YIKES! Terrible people skills. I guess that's why they can't keep staff. So be warned -- it looks shiny and new, but it's not any better than when it was 5 Star, just more expensive. You're better off with a home gym, no lie.

This is their idea of how to fix a ceiling leak...Had to ask 3 separate times to downgrade my membership. Their employees haven't been trained properly and there isn't much support.

I'm a regular at this location. I'm giving 3 stars because the instructors they have are definitely on point. They are accommodating and very positive for morale. I took 2 stars off because I find it frustrating that they have not changed their phone answering message from when they first switched over to Crunch from 5 Star. I am diligent on signing up for classes and cancelling if needed. It's called being a thoughtful member. I signed up for an event that required an in person sign up. I've been trying to call front desk 4x since this morning around 9 but when you click "O" for an operator, you're told that you dialled an invalid number. Very very frustrating. It would also be nice if the young staff were aware of any promotions. I sign people up yearly and commit to referring others yet the front is often unaware of any specials. I'm not asking or requesting for referral incentives. I've never once seen one at all but what I would like is some mutual respect. When someone emails you, respond. When someone calls, answer. Customer service should be trained better answering calls and responding to emails. I have yet to experience either.

The facility is alright. Better since Crunch took over. There's some nice new equipment and I'm glad they kept the sled. I'm glad they kept most of the equipment instead of putting in those bright orange ones. And they got rid o the algae covered fish decor. But still some work to do, there aren't enough 15-35 dumbbells. It can be pretty crowded but I guess that's to be be expected given the cost. It's certainly the most affordable gym.

My woman and myself just recently joined Crunch on Stonechurch and yes it’s only been a few weeks but we have come away impressed. Me personally I’ve found the staff to be very friendly, professional, and very engaging in wanting to help me attain my goals. The lines of communication are always open and available and the support so far from Sarah & Kevin has been nothing but positive !!! Had the opportunity to meet the physiotherapist Ms Patel for my initial assessment and was quite impressed with her knowledge on what I need to work on. At the end of the day it’s up to ourselves to obtain the goals we set and the supporting staff at Crunch is definitely going to help me reach them. For the price we pay this club is everything we need !!!

Awesome and what an upgrade! Special thanks to Ilayda for taking care of us and helping us through the process of signing (and re-signing) to this gym. My girl and I are moving this to our home gym now and had better service than any other gym and even their home office!

Probably the worst gym I’ve been to…. Very ghetto atmosphere…. Management is unprofessional…. Gym itself is packed with equipment with little room to move around and very humid and gross with not much circulation for a gym…. Go to upper James location not here.

Clean and full new weights and machines. Wish they would get the steam sauna working.

I'm definitely glad to see that Crunch Fitness on Stone Church has finally opened up again. Nice seeing some familiar faces along with new ones. The gym is coming along nicely with new equipment, and hopefully, it won't be too long before it's all up and running smoothly. If you're looking for a good place to work out, definitely try this location. Decent starting prices along with brand new equipment you can't beat that combination.
