It's frequently not a good experience. Stocking and sorting seems to be last priority. It's almost like it's just let go. And then 6 months is past and it's overhauled. I'm guessing that's either an upcoming corporate visit or manager turnover.
Sometimes customers aren't great characters but the trend now is waiting to pay while 2 or 3 staff members good around and speaking loudly to cross the room. A return voice sometimes emerged from an aisle. It's also quite typical to be things customers should not be privy to, nor do we want to be subjected too.
Change can occasionally short but that's pretty minor.

I MUCH prefer Dollar Tree over the major competitor! Despite having better prices, Dollar Tree will replace (or even refund) a defective item whereas Dollarama says TOUGH! They won't even exchange it for the same item that ISN'T broken or defective! This was annoying enough back in the day of everything being $1 but now I find that just about everything in their stores costs $3.50 so I find this totally unreasonable! Especially if you bought quite a few of the same item and they don't fit or work!
I will always pick a Dollar Tree over Dollarama! (also; very often a much better selection at Dollar Tree.

Came across a very rude staff behavior last weekend. They had some rubber flip flops and my daughter was trying one of them. A lady staff came and she was literally shouting at my daughter as you shouldn’t try those. It was very loud and in rude voice, as everyone else in the store would think my kid was going to steal something. Anyway we thought it’s Dollor Tree policy and we apologized for trying out their precious products. We let it and was going though another aisle searching for something else. Then we saw the same staff passing through a couple of times next to us and every time she was keeping an eye on my daughter’s legs - as if she is still wearing their flip flops without paying. It was too much irritating.

Her dedication and commitment to ensuring customer satisfaction truly stood out.Jodi went above and beyond to assist us during our recent visit. When we couldn't find a specific product (We were looking for a doll and your location only had 1 in stock), she didn't hesitate to take the extra step and made calls to other locations to check if the item was in stock.
