I had an absolutely dreadful experience at the Great Clips on Upper James. The elderly woman at the reception, with her blond hair, barely acknowledged me and even rolled her eyes when I asked a simple question about my appointment. If I wanted to feel like an inconvenience, I would have stayed home!
To make matters worse, she was also my stylist. Her rudeness and disinterest made me feel unwelcome rather than valued as a customer.
If you value your time and money, do yourself a favor and steer clear of this place!

Today went for a haircut at this location and was highly disappointed with the customer services that was provided. One of the staff ( who was elder) treated in a rude manner. Her tone was not at all friendly or welcoming. Rymal and Barton location are excellent.
But I WOULD NEVER EVER RECOMMEND ANYONE AT THIS LOCATION!
PS. I have also emailed the great clips customer service about the same issue.

The old lady with the blonde hair… I have no words for her and how she handles herself in the service industry…what a horrible experience she really should learn how to treat an unsatisfied customer through solutions instead mouthing off and client blaming. 1 star is for the lady that saved the day and fixed my child’s hair, bless her having to work with her, this would have been 5 stars if it had just been her.

I got a promo in the mail for 14.99$ haircut and I went for it. If anyone's thinking of doing it DO NOT. It's not worth it to ruin your entire appearance by going there. The staff were also a bit rude and they put no cape when cutting my hair so it all ended up on my clothes and body. I pay and come back to find out that they messed up the sides super bad I can't even wear a cap to cover it up, see the photos of my sides and be the judge if it's worth going there or not. I'm super mad right now and whatever license these people have must be revoked.

Used to be affordable. Now they’re as much as going anywhere else that does a better job and doesn’t rely on 97% of the cut being done with a shaver…. Truthfully, once they told me the price for a men’s cut including washing, I didn’t go. Not worth it anymore with the prices.

If you have curly hair never ever go here. I’m growing my hair out and just wanted a trim. Clearly she has no clue how or what to do with curly hair. 30 bucks for a trim and wash. She then proceeded to half dry it without a defusing… never ever again.

Rude customer service,Worst hairstylist ever had for my daughter. She didn't cut properly and uneven hair line.she was in a hurry and didn't have time to ask whether we are satisfied or not.worst of the worst. And enrolled her name in some other people.i mentioned her about it but she didn't listen. Then y guys advertised as we have all the records of ur hairstyle u Don't have to worry. Utter unprofessionalism.i used to get haircut in greatclips all these years. This branch is a best of WORST.

My friend HAD beautiful, amazing, healthy, and vibrant hair . She worked so hard to grow it out and went in for a trim at this new place. She saw the prices and decided to give it a shot. She never knew that the hair stylist would end up being so rude and disrespectful towards her. She asked for about 2 inches off in the hairstylist continued to cut her hair up to her shoulders. And proceeded to tell her the shorter the better she never askedIf she wanted a short at all, and when my friend went to go talk to the manager it was a man and he said that he can’t do anything about it so she ended up paying for up for a horrible haircut that that was uneven and it absolutely just wasted her time and it was so disrespectful towards her and her time and her effort. I expected way more and I will be reporting this to the corporate because he kept messed up like that

This place is absolutely GARBAGE. A person I know came here, asking for a simple trim. (My friends hair was VERY long, FYI) And the hairstylist said “The shorter The better”, and cut her hair to shoulder angle. This is literally unacceptable, and I now know that I will never come to this place EVER again. I hope this place shuts down for good. How do people even call this a hair salon? This is absolutely ridiculous.
