First time at this location. Staff is very helpful and friendly. Prices were excellent and lots of variety. Lots of parking behind the store off the side street.

What happened to this place? When this was in the City Centre everything was junk or… broken junk. Somehow they found a new life and a hope of a second chance after the City Centre closed. Well, from what I seen a couple months ago they are blowing their undeserved second chance with… I think… still selling junk at ridiculous prices.
Although I have a theory. Either they are too cheap to pay for proper lighting OR they are secretly geniuses by keeping everything dim and most the isles practically pitch black (my pictures don’t show exactly how dark it is)
If you think about it NOT being able to clearly see the broken furniture and cheaply made goods like they had in their previous location is clever

This Hart Store was Moved from the Hamilton City Center To Kenilworth North. The Old Store was Cheerful and Bright.
The Kenilworth Store is in a Older Building. It's just a bit Blah inside. The Store is Very Clean and well Stocked.

they sell things that are at dollar tree and Dollarama for less. I bought this same projector from dollarama before for about $2. Since the ceilings are black it looks dark in there even with the lights on. I think when this store was at Jackson square it was better. I went there for the craft section as I used to buy supplies from the old location and they don’t have as much as they did before. Very tiny section.

The store sells damaged goods. Bought a pair of boots and didn't realize they were damaged till I was home and after throwing out my receipt. Tried taking them back to exchange but because I had no receipt they wouldn't exchange for a decent pair. Won't be going back there.

No complaints about store but they charged me $6.99 for a large plastic bag. They are allowed to charge what they want but they should let customers know that a shopping bag will cost more than what they are purchasing.
