How disappointing I visited this store a few days back, and was absolutely surprised at the lack of customer service. I walked around the store with my phone out trying to locate products on my list. I watched people in black shirts, stock shelves, along with employees in red shirts, also stocking shelves . One employee said hello, but other than that all three employees on the floor did not ask if I needed any help. I clearly made my presence known walking past them several times, from the time I walked into the store and the time I walked out it was 20 minutes.
I was actually shopping for someone else , if the items were for myself, I would have just left and took my business else.
The cashier I have to say, was very nice.

We bought a doormat here and it stained our front porch, that can't be removed. We brought it back to the store and the receipt with it. The manager fought us for the refund. Like it was our fault for not bringing the doormat indoors?! Wth!? Like a welcome mat are supposed to be outdoors with no problem. We showed evidence that the mat stained and ruined our porch and she finally decided to gave us the refund. Can't believe it was such a big deal to give us a refund for their bad quality item and now we have a big "tattoo" in out front porch. We'll never buy here again.

DO NOT DEAL WITH THE EASTGATE STORE!!! Christa the so-called manager is Rude, Arrogant, and Useless she is on a power trip and will NOT help customers. We tried to return a defective kettle to this store that was purchased one week ago. Christa would not return the kettle because it had been used. Of course it had been used we had to try it. The kettle would not sit on its platform without wiggling it to it to work and the blue bead light around the kettle only partially worked. We owned this kettle for one week!!!! No option to return or replace. When I asked why the kettle wasn’t backed by the store Christa gave no reason just it’s been used. The kettle is in perfect condition but it’s faulty. When I asked for the head office number I was told to go right ahead and contact them. I told Christa that’s ridiculous that the store doesn’t take back faulty products Christa then turned and walked away without giving me the head office number and disappeared into the stock room. I had to ask another cashier for the number and her name. TERRIBLE CUSTOMER SERVICE and they wonder why these stores go out of business. Christa needs to be fired she’s no manager. Kitchen Plus can do much better!!!! This is why Walmart is putting these stores out of business. If this isn’t resolved by head office I will make sure everyone I know hears about this.

So called manager on duty today was soooo rude . I bought pet hair trimmer on Sunday evening and when I pulled it out it seemed opened to me and I tried turning it on it was dead . So I put it on charging , whole night even after charging light on it never turned from red to green ( which it was supposed to be ) . So I went to the store to return it as it was defective. But this lady blamed me for using it which I didn’t . Then after so long discussion, she end up giving me store credit . I actually wanted an exchange but because of her behaviour and rudeness, I end. Up buying something else. I been regular customer of KSP from years , but this is the first time I experienced this at Eastgate location other staff has been very helpful usually. Very rude person , she is ,with no customer service skills

Terrible management. I’m not sure if you can call Christa a manager she’s rude and terrible at customer service. I tried to return a brand new kettle that I had only had for one week and used maybe twice. The kettle would not sit on its cradle and charge correctly I had to wiggle it. The blue light around the bottom of the kettle seemed to burn out everywhere except at the ends and the lid got so hot it almost burned my hand. I wanted to return the faulty kettle but Christa had other ideas she took the kettle in the, back filled it with water and tested it out came back and said there’s nothing wrong with it and wouldn’t take it back. I told her I wasn’t happy with the kettle for the reasons stated she didn’t care and kept saying it was the stores policy no returns for used items. I was shocked and asked if all items in the store had no return policy she abruptly said it’s policy. I asked for the head office number and her name she said no problem go right ahead. When I questioned her customer service and asked why there was no warranty she rolled her eyes and walked away and left me standing at the counter while she hid in the stock room. I had to ask another cashier for the number and her name. I went to Kitchen plus in Oakville and they were fantastic I told them the issue and they said no problem we will do a full refund. What a difference. Kitchen plus head office needs to fire Christa she not a manager and you can tell her staff are miserable she going to kill business at the Hamilton location.

We always like to visit Kitchen Stuff Plus, but in this location, few staff members are so rude and not helpful at all.
