Today I visited Hani Meat Shop | Kabab Kirkuk, and it truly made me so happy! This restaurant carries the name of my hometown, Kirkuk, and the food tasted exactly like home. The owner, Sahabe Hani, is a very kind and generous man — he treats everyone with respect, offers tea, and makes you feel like family.
I tried the Kirkuk-style kebab, chicken liver, and stew — all were super delicious! They also bake fresh Kurdish bread on-site, soft and warm, just like back home. I’m really proud and thankful to find a place in Canada that brings the taste and soul of Kirkuk. Highly recommended! ??❤️??”

You will see many of the city's workforce grabbing lunch here. Busy around lunch for the legendary schnitzel on a bun.”
