We have been a customer of Scotiabank 1255 Barton st. East hamilton ont.this branch is very cooperative. Recently we got line of credit from Ajay Saluja, who is home financing advisor there. He did an awesome job. We highly recommend this branch.

Terrible customer service , absolutely atrocious, embarrassing to call themselves a bank as a day after the holiday. Nobody in the business department is available to help.. what did I need help with you ask.. the previous day I went to the ATM to make a deposit, first time ever does the machine freeze and not give back my business card, and because there is no business advisor the next day nobody is actually able to help us or give us our business card... Instead I have to wait another day. Meanwhile trying to get on the phone with them was like pulling teeth I spoke to 7 different ppl from the Dominican Republic and still nobody was able to help because I was worried that the card would spit back out after I leave and somebody would use it... But because this is a business account only someone in the business department can help me not even on the customer service and anywhere ALL USELESS PPL..

FIX YOUR ATMS!!! Consistently the drive thru atm will allow you to input all your info and THEN tell you it's not accepting deposits? Wasted time there so I went inside and those atms are often not working or spit my cash back out at me! More wasted time. So now I have to go inside to wait for a teller. When I explain the situation with the atms he LAUGHS and says yeah it happens all the time and no one does anything.. it would take him or anyone else 1 minute to print a sign saying "not accepting deposits" but apparently they just don't care about the continued inconvenience! Center Mall Scotia SUCKS.

I have had a business account with this bank for almost 10 years. They are the worst to deal with. Management is some of the most arrogant people I have ever dealt with. Literally will act like they have no idea who you are, and super condescending.

Very lazy and don’t want to do their Jobs! Nice guy at the front, juan I believe his name is. he helped me after I was told I couldn’t be helped and had to call the bank myself. I opened this account within 48 hours and already having issues with the online banking and taking money out. Thinking of closing this bank for a new one.

Zero respect for customers. If you want to be disrespected for your race,age or financial status this is the place for you! Don't expect to be talked to like a human being. I stood up for a woman who could barely speak English who was being name called and got kicked out. I was trying to set up an account. Since I've run into numerous people with the same experience of ignorance. Horrible staff and customer service that shouldn't be legal in our country!
