Store was suppose to open 10 am but it wasn’t Sign on the entrance door said “we ll open in a bit “ I waited for 30 mins falling for “in a bit”. why can’t they put sign telling an approximate time. On top no one picked up the phone all the staff was there.

One real cashier working - 6 or so customers lined up. I have time. However, upon my turn at the cashier there’s a small sign that says “cash only”. I suggested a sign also be placed around the corner to inform waiting customers that the cashier is for “cash only”… to diminish the wait and number of customers waiting in line. The cashier replied “that won’t do any good, no one will see it there either.” I’m trying to buy a gift card - impossible at the self checkout, and I don’t have enough cash on hand. Store manager comes to assist at self check out - I raise the “cash only” sign discussion. He replies “it’s not cash only, we make allowances for credit or debit on a case by case basis.” Talk about confusing and manipulating customers!

I believe head office is contributing to the bad customer service I'm reading in these reviews. It's not the employees' fault that the regular till is cash only. They are trying to up their numbers for self check out. I feel all employees are stressed. Do better, head office

Great experience with Sabrina tonight! She helped find the latest Gaultier perfume I was inquiring about and was kind enough to give me two samples of it! When I decide which one I’m buying I’ll definitely be returning to this location. Matt

We went in to pick up several small items; mission accomplished, off to check out. A sign on the only manned cash register said "cash only." However, the several "do it yourself / no service" checkouts had no bags visible. We needed a bag. So, we got into the line at the manned checkout, where there were bags. While there, a small group of teens paid for an item at the "self-service / no service" registers. They then walked past the manned register, on their way out of the store. The anti-theft portal buzzed. They stopped, and looked at the cashier, who then stopped servicing all the other customers in line, including us, to grill the boys on whether they had paid for everything. They said they had, with only one item purchased. The cashier kept at them, coming right to the edge of accusing them of theft, stating that the only way the portal would sound is if there was an anti-theft tag on them somewhere. The boys started to offer to let themselves be searched. The cashier stated that they must have a tag on them somewhere and if they had not forgotten to pay for something, whatever was causing the alarm to sound would do this "everywhere they went." The boy with the purchased item actually handed his wallet to one of the other lads, and tried the portal again; it sounded again. They turned to the cashier, who, by then, appear to have gotten tired of the exchange, and had turned back to the customers in line, without saying anything else to the boys. The boy with the purchase finally asked if they could leave, and the cashier said yes. Aside from the cashier's rude and accusing demeanor, she had not right to stop the boys; they could have, and should have just kept walking. The fact the store has a faulty loss prevention system is not their fault; and not their responsibility to stop to be treated with a complete lack of respect (my opinion). Live in the Grimsby area. Drove all the way up to that mall (my bad, never again) to shop at this “beauty bar”…Was in the store to spend my usual $500 on skin care stock-up items. The atmosphere is horrendous; in fact, very uncomfortable. The lady in that section was hap-hazard, not listening to what my desires were and wouldn’t even check the drawers for extra stock (shelves are pretty slim)… Condescending sales attitudes —needless to say! I walked out with nothing and wasted my time. Went to the states the next day and purchased it all in Buffalo, instead! Don’t waste your time with this location! Money spent better elsewhere.

Been going to this location for a long time now. The staff is so friendly, knowledgeable, and helpful in anything you need. I've bought many fragrances here, and the staff are so accommodating at finding me the right fragrances. The cashiers are quick, friendly, and efficient. The pharmacy team is excellent always going above and beyond to educate you about your medications, and to offer you sound advice. The wait to fill a prescription is usually a half hour or less. Based on my experience here at this location I'd definitely recommend this establishment for all your pharmacy needs.

PLEASE DO NOT ENTER THIS SHOPPERS IF YOU ARE A PERSON OF COLORFriday August 4th 2023, at 7PM my girlfriend and I got ???????? ???????? inside this Shoppers by the old lady with wrinkles (PLEASE invest in some retinoid and Vitamin C serum).My girlfriend was shopping for her makeup in the makeup section and after she confirmed her choices she handed it to me in my hand to hold. After walking through a couple aisles waiting for my girlfriend to choose other products, I see the old lady with black hair in a ponytail in the corner of my eye on every aisle I go to; this happened 5 times consecutively. Obviously this would make ANYONE feel uncomfortable and apparently she does not see this as RACIALLY PROFILING and said "She is just doing her job" ??????? ARE YOU CRAZYMy girlfriend and I were the only ones who were people of color. MIND YOU THERE WERE 20 OTHER PEOPLE IN THE MAKEUP SECTION. I told her "Why aren't you giving us the same treatment to the other people in here?" as other people are walking by through the makeup section. She replied "You're not my boss" clearly she was beyond acting dumbfounded.This miserable old lady signaled to the other coworker that they thought we were suspicious. I told her "What signals did I give you that you think I had the intention to steal?" She replied "the way i was holding it"..... are you serious????? ? ??? ??????? ???? ?? ?? ???? ???? ??? ?????????. ? ???? ?? ???? ? ?????? ????? ????? ???? ??? ??? ??????? ???????? ?? ?? ???.I made SURE she looked at me in the eye while I was scanning the things in self-checkout for my girlfriend in order for her to see how uncomfortable that makes people when you profile them.My story is backed up by the 20 other people in the store who were shopping at this moment and can attest to this. Please take note she did NOT profile anyone else except US.PLEASE invest in a hobby being miserable and flagging innocent people will not get you anywhere. How do you even work in a customer service job? I feel bad for ANYONE that has to even STARE at you.I am absolutely perplexed this person is still in employment after the countless other people who left reviews with similar experiences. Management please make the right decision and realize this person provides an uncomfortable experience for shoppers that are persons of color. She does not provide customer service that is expected for an interpersonal skill job.Repugnant experience PLEASE DO NOT GO HERE.

I bought a perfume worth $217 at Limeridge mall and only got a receipt for it. No gift bag no samples in case I need to get more in future and the staff just wanted to chat with each other. Didn't care for customer service. They let me pay and off I went. Next time, Hudson Bay!

Waited on hold for way over 40 min. Using 2 phones to see which one gets through first. Still on hold, would hang up but I need a prescription to be filled. Would go elsewhere but they have my prescription form on file. Wondering if anyone works there. With an aging population and more people getting sick, get your act together & hire people!!! People depended on their medication. Been trying for 3 days to get this filled ???

If there would be minus marking I would give -10. I was looking for a perfume gift set. Yesterday afternoon when I entered in cosmetic section 1 employee gave a signal to another to look on me. As if I am here to steal. When I needed someone there was no one for a while. Once decided I went to self checkout where suddenly cosmetic cashier came and asked to pay at the counter (firstly she was not available). 100% she was thinking I am gonna steal it even after I was standing in the line at self checkout. She could have waited if am not paying she could point me of stealing but dragging me to the counter was very weird and rude. I am a regular at Mohawk rd drug mart but never saw this kind of service.

Rude customer service. Everytime I shop at this location, a worker is always directly behind or beside me watching (obviously because they suspect I am trying to steal). It is very uncomfortable and quite frankly very rude. However, if I'm in need of help, they're too busy or are quick to move away.I never have this problem at the Mohawk rd location where workers are nearby in a polite way where I feel comfortable and they are always ready to assist customers. The limeridge location needs to do better. I will not be returning here once again.

The Asian lady on cash will literally stand directly behind people while they are at self checkout…she already over steps this boundaries during normal days of the year but during Christmas why is she so extreme and acting like security or someone’s robbing her own personal store? Lay off and let people have their space! You make me and so many people uncomfortable it’s gross! Someone needs to tell this women how ridiculous it is breathing down someone’s shoulder just to see if they do or don’t scan something …. At the end of the day if someone did not scan an item and stole it .. it still has no effect on you … if you wanna act and be a security guard don’t be an over bearing controlling cashier.
