Did an exchange on a defective moccasin slipper on January 14th 2024 and the staff was fabulous, especially the young man working that evening. My exchange was handled professionally and quickly. Store layout is nice. Clean and well lit.

I purchased slippers at different Softmoc because they didn’t have my size in the ones I wanted, but felt once at home, that they were too tight. Decided to see if Eastgate had more selection.Lucas the clerk was friendly and professional, gave information about which styles may be too narrow, was knowledgeable about products, and attentive in helping me. I was easily able to return the slippers which were too tight and purchased a better fitting style.He displayed such great customer service I wanted to be sure his employer knew.At the first store I had been to, the employees had to be repeatedly sought out, and weren’t particularly friendly or helpful.Thank you Lucas for a great shopping experience.

I was there last night to get walking sandals in a specific colour but I realized that SoftMoc doesn't carry this colour in their stores. Lucas checked inventory at other locations and found out that although this colour is not available in stores, it can be purchased from their online store. I wanted to try some size and Lucas knew that helping me won't end up in a sale, but he was still super helpful in getting me different sizes and colours for me to try, so I can order the right size and colour online. Also: all of this happened 10min before the store closing time. He didn't rush me out or brush me off. Thank you Lucas for all your help. SoftMoc, congrats to you for hiring great staff.

Saying hello to customers when they walk in isn't hard. Even if you're busy, a simple 'hey there, I'll be right with you.' would suffice. I walked in, employees definitely saw me, I picked up some shoes on display, nobody said anything. I walked up and down 2 aisles, made eye contact with employees. Nothing.I literally stood in the centre of the store, waiting for someone to say something to me.. the young lady working walked behind me to to go to the front counter and put her head down and still didn't acknowledge me. Not a word!Eventually I asked her for what I was looking for and it wasn't in stock anyway.I get it, this isn't a job the disaffected youth of today would be enthusiastic about, but you're not going to move up anywhere if you can't excel from the bottom. And it's just as much management's fault for not motivating employees.

I'm going to have to give this a 1 star for having a company policy that doesn't make sense.If you purchased something this week and see it is on sale next week. You cannot simply just have the receipt to get the difference. You need the receipt, product and original packaging... Oh and it has to be unworn to get the difference back. That is totally ridiculous. At other stores all I need is a receipt. I'll probably not shop here anymore and get what I need elsewhere, because they are not unique with what they carry, I could have done Amazon.I try to shop local at stores instead of online (Amazon) but with these polices it makes it very hard to justify. Eventually everyone will catch on and these places will cease to exist.

I had a very negative experience at this location yesterday. I was shopping with my daughter and the girl with black hair was yelling at the mall security and being very unprofessional. We left empty handed because I didn't want my child to hear the language she was using.

Excellent customer service! The employee that was helping me was freindly, accommodating, engaging and professional. Unfortunately, this time I didn't find what I was looking for but I will definitely visit this location again.
