What can I say about a used store that gets all there items free but carry heavy pricing tags? I’ll add some examples in my photos.Let’s dissect a few things. The staff! Friendly and helpful from what I’ve gathered the day I was there shopping. Helpful in the change rooms and easy to approach. The selections of clothing and items aren’t too bad. The store is tidy and well stocked. Easy to look through as it’s sorted my sections of men’s, women and children ect. Sizes and colours and so forth. This is very helpful when approaching a store of this size, one can get overwhelmed. However the negative for me would be the price for many items in there. Some things you can get at a normal store cheaper and it would be in new condition.I saw a dress for $59.99 and jeans for $39.99How is this possible for a place that receives free things to mark up that high? I understand it takes money to pay bills and pay staff ect. So they need to make money. However that’s pure greed. I’ve donated so many things there and I’ve seen by the truck loads of items come in while am there. If only they could keep cost lower. I don’t see why not If the regular stores sell cheaper than you on most stuff and they don’t get there stuff donated for free. Why can’t you?I don’t shop there to often after seeing the prices changes lately to more higher.Hope you will try to keep cost down like the big box stores. As there’s peopleWho really rely on used stores to get items cheaper because they can’t afford regular store. So if you sell like regular store or higher than them. Where do that leave for our community who supports you ?

One of the best used stores in Hamilton. Clean, better stuff. They carry plus size clothes aswell. 2, 3, 4, 5, 6xl. Value Village stores are stopping the plus sizes. I'll continue to shop at Talize.

Always a fun thrill thrift shopping! But prices are getting a bit steep. But they always have 50% daily Specials!

Change your stickers. I always get frustrated trying to peel it off at home then have to run it under hot water. Its extremely irritating and frustrating. Design better stickers.

Update: Talize is still my preferred store to shop for gently used clothing. I like how their clothing are neatly colour coded and also how they run a daily manager's special of 50% off certain category. In addition, they periodically run a 50% off the entire store sale and Mother's Day and Father's Day special.-----Pretty clean store. Nicely organized, colour coded. They have a daily manager's special of 50%. I would call ahead to find out before going. But when you call they always says the specials can change at any time during the day which I think is silly and doesnt make any sense. It's just like saying to a customer who is already at the store going through the special rack and when they bring the items to cash you tell them "oh sorry, we just changed our special". That would total upset me. So dont tell the customer that the special MAY change. As with the selection of clothing. Not bad. There's not a lot of name brand clothing I notice for ladies and mens. There's the odd Tommy Hilfiger, CK, Ralph. I guess it is a hit and miss maybe, if you are looking for name brand. Prices range from $5-14 per item. lots of $9.99. I feel it should be between $3 -9, considering they get them for free. Some items cost as much as a new item.Best to buy when they have their 50% sale. Best bang for your buck.

I used to enjoy going to this shop until now...prices has jump up, I like to buy photo frames and albums and some clothing..today when I went the photo albums had almost doubled in price! One album was 8.99!! And the same for photo frames !! A small one 6.99!! Yes some had not been used but they were purchased by someone maybe not used and then donated ...thus 2nd. hand!!! This is unbelievable. Shame on Talize....

Up until time to check out store was great. We went to check out and the cashier was talking to her friends about a date some friend had about going out for dinner and then going to beach....blah blah blah. Didn't even stop talking to them as she was checking us out. Never once greated us or asked how we did. Asked if we wanted a bag we said yes she finished totaling up the bill and we asked for the bag. Oh you didn't say you wanted a bag, yes we did but you were to busy talking to your friends. At that point we told her you didn't even greet us and we told her that what she was doing was very unprofessional and rude. Then on top of that blue and green stickers were 50% off and she charged full price, so some else had to fix her mistake. I will be calling the store to speak with a managerIn the morning

I visited this Talize location yesterday and was pleasantly surprised with how organized and clean the store was. Also the supervisor Matilda greeted me as well as other customers and was genuinely interested in knowing if I needed help finding anything. She even told me of certain items that were on sale. Matilda went above and beyond, providing exceptional customer service. Thank you so much!

Love this store. There is change rooms to try clothes on. A big bonus. Will no longer go to value village since they remove the change room. That’s why I give it a five star

really great thrift store in hamilton! i found pricing to be pretty good, idk why people say this store is overpriced. i love that they have student discounts (10% off) and give coupons for people who donate. additionally the colour coding in store was CRAZY GOOD which helped me feel less overwhelmed in store. i also love that they have change rooms.

everyone who works here is always super sweet and respectful. everything is pretty well organized and visually appealing but I do wish the prices (especially on clothes) were more reasonable considering it all comes in for free.
