We purchase many of our yearly Christmas decorations from home depot from lights to inflatables and lawn decorations each year for our christmas display that people come from all over the county to view. Specifically we purchased 2 inflatable 6ft nutcrackers and a small Christmas grogu last winter. I understand lights and decorations dont last forever. Even this year $400 was spent just on replacement light strings for the display. The grogu didn't last the season and the nutcrackers when tried this year did not inflate. So thought to visit customer service for assistance. We were met by Cheryl at customer service and inquired if anything could be done we were told any returns for seasonal items is 30 days fair enough that is company return policy and that we could try with the manufacturer. I then asked if we could speak with a manager to see if anything could be done at the store level for assistance. Was essentially ignored with this request which I asked more than once by the customer service representative. My wife then said they would probably tell you to pound dirt to myself where the customer service rep agreed that that would be pretty much what they would say and laughed at us about it. Needless to say we threw out the 2 inflatables in the garbage at the store.

I was at your store today went to the pro desk went to get a quote for almost 100 sheets of drywall and some other things and because your computer did not say caring to the basement it only would say first or second floor I explained to the lady that it was only seven steps straight direction. No turns very easy, but because it was not in the computer, she said she could not do it. I asked her to check with somebody and she said that she’s just listening to the computer and that’s all she would do when on your website complain to somebody and they said they would’ve done it. Thanks for a waste of my time.

Picked up a couple rental fans from HD, was pleasantly served by Derrick who showed compassion to my situation and professionalism towards further equipment I would have to rent. I appreciated going there and the service he showed to help me undertake cleaning smoke from my house. Will definitely be back.

I been shopping home depot for years ... but today I got a 2 foot x 2 foot piece of drywall ... stupid price of it cost almost same as full sheet .... nothing like ripping off Canadians for pocket change ... get real home depot ... thinking of switching providers for building products ... RONA looks like it can work

The customer service here is excellent. They will do whatever they can to help get you a refund for any products that need returning. They will work with you even if you don’t have a receipt or under weird circumstances. This team here is fantastic.

I am sure I am not the only fan of this nice associate named BEN (Aka BIG BEN) of Home Depot @350 Centennial Pkwy N, Hamilton, ON L8E 2X4, whom I highly recommend, is entirely knowledgeable with everything I asked him so far and he took his time to answer all my questions with complete satisfaction.
During my first acquaintance, the issue was retrofitting of a Home Depot DIY hand shower to an existing old system. BEN picked up the right parts for me and described the solution so well that it just worked without issues which nowhere else I found a solution for and saved me lots of money.
During the latest visit, which was about boring into ceramic tiles to hang a heavy mirror in the bathtub wall. Again, he picked up the exact parts and described so well how to do it that it just worked without issues. I know people do not dare to drill ceramic tiles directly and prefer to make the hole between tiles which BEN explained why someone should never trust hole made between tiles to hang heavy objects. I was trying to buy a clearance GE washing machine during the same visit and BEN did his best to ask, convince and call whoever required to help me.
Knowledgeable associates are very rare these days and BEN is definitely an asset for Home Depot for the business and saves lots of money and time for us who can’t afford contractors for everything and mostly rely on DIY solutions.

Do not rent tools from here I got a edger to sand the floor it was missing the key from it also the bag had holes in it. When I came back to complain and tell them the girl was very unprofessional and kept telling I should have called and complained now she can’t do anything . So I paid $54.58 for somthing that I didn’t even use and wasted my time
