“I’ve nothing but good things to say about Tire Haus. My Mazda 3's rims were a bit beat up, but more importantly, they were bent and not true from years of pothole abuse. Not enough so that they wouldn’t hold air, but enough to put stress on wheel bearings and make my new tires wear unevenly. Rim straightening was the fix.

I went to Tire Haus to have them straightened and refinished, but they had a new set of Mazda rims in black (mine were silver) that they were willing to sell me for $600 less than straightening and refinishing mine, all inclusive (sealed, balanced and with a front end alignment). Moreover, it took them only a half hour to do the complete job. I was very impressed, saved a lot of money in the deal, and didn’t have to leave the car for an entire day & taxi it home.

Fast forward two weeks and I ground one of the rims against the curb at Tim Horton’s while trying to count coins at the drive-through drive - leaving a large scratched area that was now silver and very noticeable. I returned to Tire Haus and they offered to touch up the area with black paint to make it less noticeable at no charge, or make the damage invisible for an excellent price plus 24 hours with the rim. I chose the cheaper former option, and it looks just fine. You’d have to know exactly where the damage was and then find it. I’m happy!

“I had an excellent experience getting new tires installed at Good To Go Tire “Lee” ! They replaced all four all-season tires on my Nissan Rogue 2017, and the service was nothing short of amazing. The staff were professional, and the pricing was very competitive. I arrived on time, and they got the job done quickly and efficiently. “Truthfully, hard to figure 5 vs 4. Settled on 5 because ultimately they delivered. I was changing rims and tire size on my car. They suggested they look at new rims on car to verify fit, issues etc. They did this before ordering tires. The rears were a difficult size to source in the Michelins I wanted. They were able to get them, came in when they said. Car went in for installation, but the size of spacers ordered were not correct, so had to put my original wheels/tires back on the car until correct spacers came in. When new ones were mounted with new spacers, they looked perfect. Unfortunately, new TPMS was not programmed. I tried to do this at home, but couldn’t get the car to accept the new TPMS units. I checked car diagnostics and it showed a fault on the Right Front TPMS. I called and they asked that I bring car in to sort it out. They also had difficulty programming the units. Tried different solutions then finally called manufacturer Tech Support, who confirmed that there was a software issue, sent Focus the fix, 10 minutes later everything was programmed correctly and I left, a happy customer. I wavered between a 4 or 5, and gave 5 because, altho it was a bit of a process, they were relentless in getting everything sorted out, securing hard to find tires, getting correct spacers, sorting out TPMS. Kevin and the lads got it done, never bitching about it, just rolling up their sleeves and getting it done as fast as they could, at the price they originally quoted. Isn’t that what we want, quality products and great service at a good price. I’d go back and would recommend to my friends.”

“Came to this shop to get a quote on some winter tires and steel rims, talked with Joe he asked for the car information and quickly gave me a price on two sets and gave his opinion that the less expensive was just as good as the more expensive ones. He did not try to upsell or make me believe I needed any extras. Left to check a few other places and came back to place the order. Was told I would be called when the tires and rims would be ready( they set them up before calling) to come get them installed. The following day they were ready and if I could come by that day at set time they would be installed. All said and done in 2 days. Fast, reasonable and professional. “After spending over 4 months looking for a reliable and affordable used car I finally found Mike off FB Marketplace. After viewing and test driving cars across the GTA from Kawartha Lakes to Oshawa, to Hamilton, to North York, and everything in between, and spending time going back and forth with dealerships, it was an actual godsend to find Mike.
I could tell immediately he had kids by the way he spoke to me and respected me. Being a young woman, I found it extremely frustrating dealing with prior sellers and having them address and speak to my boyfriend as if he was buying the car, even after explaining I am the buyer. I felt like my questions and concerns were treated like an obstacle rather than an important part of the buying process. There was little patience, transparency, and a sense that if I wasn't interested, someone else would be so my business didn't really matter.
However, Mike not only talked to me in a respectful and non-pressuring manner, but he took the time to fully explain things that were beyond my understanding. Rather than take advantage of my ignorance, he was extremely honest and took the time to lift the car and show me under the fenders and the entire underside of the car. He explained the history, the repairs the car went through, and what it would need to pass the safety. It was just so refreshing to talk to someone who speaks to you like a person rather than someone trying to speak carefully to hide things to sell you something.
I just took the car to my personal mechanic up in Aurora after driving it for about 3 weeks now and they thankfully assured me I made a good purchase. I would wholeheartedly recommend Mike to anyone looking to buy a car from an honest, knowledgeable professional who treats his customers with respect. As a woman shopping for a vehicle, that meant more to me than I can say.”
