Do not rent here!! I have been renting storage units for the better part of 8 years. I have never had such a terrible experience in all my years of renting. They are absolute gangsters, making up invoices without communication. Then they overlocked and demanded $1200 for what was OBVIOUSLY a misunderstanding. They have no regard for the Storage and Lien Act which should govern their behaviour. In all my years of doing business, I have always done what’s right, and what is best for the long term relationship. These people don’t care. My only advice to someone renting here is to watch yourself. Go to a bigger, more well known company that has an understanding on what customer service is and won’t strong arm you into paying. I have a small business and I would never dream of treating a customer the way I just got treated.

Honestly was looking forward to doing business here until the owner became very shady. Over charged more than once and blocked me out of my own unit!

I was so very impressed with Upper James Self Storage! They were extremely clean, safe and secure. I had peace of mind while my entire life (literally) was stored in this facility for 9 months. Dori was absolutely amazing and made me feel extremely confident that she was keeping an extra eye on things at all times!In the future, if I ever need to place my personal belongings in storage, this will be the place I do so!

Neat well secured storage available 24hrs. I was looking for a smaller storage space but it seems the smallest they have is 10ft

What a wonderful and excellent self storage location. Great location. Extremely well cared for facility with clean units, no pests, dry and really importantly, Dottie was very friendly and flexible with my short term storage needs. Why go anywhere else?

From the first call in April of 2021 to notification that we were emptying the unti, Dori was phenomenal. Excellent communication and great customer service. Unit was dry with ZERO signs of pest/rodents. I know it's just storage, but when your placing your personal items in someone else's care', tis great to know that your stuff is safe, dry and easily accessible 24/7.
