What can I say? I always find great things at Value Village. In my family, we actually put a twist on the name, making it sound like a high-end boutique, "Villeux Villages", the g is soft ?It's like a treasure hunt. It takes some time but is totally worth it. I usually have the best luck at this Waterdown location and the newer one in Ancaster ON. Happy hunting!

My favourite Value Village..it's clean and very organized..people complain that the prices are higher than other thrift stores..to me the quality *not buying something I could buy at Walmart..I have bought top of the line clothes, gifts, dishes and the book section is incredible.

ships donations to kitchener to use ai for pricing, very high prices on cds, dvds, books and more that can go +$10 plus. if you have things you want to get rid of try using a free for all page on facebook instead of giving these crooks your money.

Way more expensive than other Value Village branches I've visited. Thumbs down on the pricing. I really wish that they would adopt the same return policy as Habitat for Humanity Restore, where electronics can be returned 7 days after purchase.

I love the prices and the employees that work there. Great for a couple new outfits or house items that are unique. I've been going here for years and have had great experiences with friends, even just looking.

I will always be a fan and shopper of Value Village but they do seem to be more money grabbey then ever. Especially there showcase items, I find to be overpriced when comparing to other stores. That being said, it is hit and miss and sometimes you can find a sweet deal. Cheers

Very very expensive. All the inventories are used and donated by kind hearts people. But the store are charging the prices like highway robbery. Some items are higher than Amazon. I think Dollarama is much cheaper than this value village.

I understand businesses need to make money… but all their Kirkland and Urban Star Men’s jeans you can buy BRAND NEW at Costco for $16.99 plus tax.. they sell for, wait for it.. $19.49-20.99 plus tax. Why? Not to mention a lot of other things that cost the same or more than new (Wal Mart’s George Brand). I don’t understand how they figure out pricing but growing up this was an affordable place to get clothes and now it’s cheaper to just buy a lot of stuff new.

Shoe aisle stinks like dirty feet. Not any good finds at all dirty and over priced. Some jewelry had rust on it, and didn’t see any name brand clothing at all. A few years back they used to have a lot, you can literally find cheaper brand new shoes from Walmart across the street.

Prices had increased a lot. Picked up some cookie cutters for the fall & Christmas baking. Some office products were decently priced. Tuesday is Seniors day, you get 30% off. We all love to save a few dollars!

It's worth checking out and definitely saves money over buying new. Lots of variety in clothing. Not as great as it was a few years ago when they had regular 50% off days -) suspended due to the pandemic) , and pricing often seems too high for a thrift store. Like 10$ for a used t-shirt is too much. The time to go is Tuesdays for 30% off for seniors, or if you donate and get a 20% off coupon worth up to 10$.

Location: Value village, Waterdown. The "manager" name Jennifer is very unprofessional. Blonde lady. I wanted to return my items I purchased for $150.00 to exchange for different size clothes. I understand your policy but I am a member here, been a member for 2 decades, I never had this problem ever in my life before and I tried to show her the policy online. She didn't pay no attention to what I was trying to show her to clarify the policy. She was very entitled and ignorant in her position. I then accepted that I couldn't get a refund from her, then she went to her employees and customers to talk about our situation in a unfriendly manner way. They all started laughing by looking at us and gave us uncomfortable stares. Especially with Denise. I was with a child and 5 month old baby. Jennifer kept on harassing me when I told her to stop talking to me as she was going back to work.. and couldn't keep her mouth shut. I asked her 4 times to stop. What she did was very unnecessary and uncalled for. Instead of being understanding and defusing the problem, she could've handled this differently as a professional manager that she says she is.. I've never seen a manager behave this way before. I hope someone takes this matter seriously because the environment she's creating doesn't make me want to come back. Not only was I involved in this matter, other customers and other employees were involved as well because she doesn't know how to handle herself in this position. I hope someone reaches out to me because I am extremely unsatisfied with this experience at this location. I've been coming for 2 decades. Will not be coming back ever. Shame on that lady. This has been reported to the Better Business Bureau®.

Used to be good. Now they’re just overpriced, often priced beyond retail, and honestly people are so done with the bs of their pricing they don’t even revolt, protest or boycott the stores anymore….they just don’t go. Shame.
