This Walmart location is always socking the shelves when I go in, there’s always plenty. The only thing about stocking during peak hours, is that the stockers get in the way of the shopping experience. I feel stocking should be done a night so people can get around the store during the day.

I cannot explain the frustration I have with Walmart, specifically this upper James location as it pertains to the online delivery. We only do this as a last resort, and it’s been a while so we thought we would give it a try again. They rarely ever have the items we need and when they text the items they are swapping and we say no to the item, suddenly the shopper has already checked out. Some of the items they swap for don’t even make any sense. They don’t seem to know their produce, and they will give a completely different brand and product .If we didn’t have to pay for this service I wouldn’t think anything of it. We have complained to Walmart Canada and of course, no surprise, we never got a call back. I don’t want to have to go back out to the grocery store after my groceries are delivered. That’ll be the last time we use this service, especially at this location.

Unfortunately, I had a very disappointing experience at this store. The staff were unresponsive when assistance was needed, and the interaction at the billing counter felt uncomfortable and unwelcoming. There was no greeting or basic courtesy, and the items were handled carelessly after scanning.
What was most concerning was the noticeable difference in behavior toward different customers. Some customers were greeted warmly, with smiles and help packing their items, while others were not offered the same level of respect. Such inconsistency made the experience feel unfair and discouraging.
In addition, I visited the photo center three times over a period of three months to get photos taken. Each time, I was told that the system was “frozen” and that photos could not be taken. On every visit, I waited approximately 15 to 30 minutes without any clear response, only to receive the same explanation and no service. If the photo center is frequently unavailable, it would be better to remove or clearly communicate the status of this service to avoid wasting customers’ time.
Additionally, the store lacks basic customer-service facilities, such as a proper dressing or trial area, which further added to the inconvenience.
Due to these repeated experiences, I have decided that I will not be visiting this shop again. I hope the management takes this feedback seriously and works toward providing equal, respectful, and professional service to all customers.

The Walmart is big and was well stocked. We were frustrated when we visited as we went to print pictures, and they were out of the 1 hr 4x6 size, and many of the printed gift options. We were able to shop for many food items tho, as well as clothes and house wares. It is a good Walmart location.

This is hands down the worst Walmart I’ve ever been to. The employees are rude, unhelpful, or completely nonexistent, like actually don't have a clue how to even interact with people. The store is always trashed - overflowing garbage, products thrown everywhere, and zero sense of order.
The customers are just as bad. Every visit feels like walking into a dirty circus. Loud, chaotic, and uncomfortable every single time 🤮🤮🤮
Shelves are constantly empty, there’s no selection, and half the things listed as “in stock” never actually are. It’s a complete waste of time.
I’ll gladly drive the extra 25 minutes to the Waterdown location from now on. Avoid this place if you can.

Just had some sales person lie to me about how long the sale was going and tried to high pressure sale me into buying a $1,000 item. The lack of integrity disgusts me. I had been planning on spending quite a bit on various items. I ended up walking out because I'm not going to spend my money at a place that lies to me.

They always hang up and never answer customer calls. When I go in person, they never have what I need, so I end up wasting time when they could have just answered the phone.

0/5 customer service terrible. Photo centre couldn’t find my order despite email saying it’ was ready the day before. Didn’t flag them as missing but told me to come back later or call. As if they are going to magically appear after a couple days without anyone noting they’re missing?! Also they don’t answer the phone.

Recently purchased a tv from this location, and received some of the most helpful, patient service I’ve ever had by Het, Lakshay, and another young man whose name I didn’t get (sorry!). They were super patient while we called for a larger vehicle to help us get the tv home, and helped us load it into the van too ❤️
