Tonight, on November 23rd, I visited Walmart. The pharmacist (he) at the pharmacy section seemed unwilling to provide information on how to take the prescribed medicine. When we had questions, he directed us to the medicine label, stating that all the information is on the label and just read it. Whoa! Shouldn't it be his responsibility to explain carefully how and when to take the medicine?Just dismayed! Very poor customer service!

I reside in Niagara Falls where I do the majority of my shopping at Walmart. I came to Hamilton, Upper James location and was so put off and upset with how messy and disorganized this franchise is. The staff are rude, walk in front of your cart and cut you off. I did not have ONE SINGLE STAFF MEMBER smile or even acknowledge that I was there. I honestly walked in, perused through the majority of the isles and left without purchasing a single item. I will NEVER return to this location again

This store feels like a warzone. Shelves are disorganized, product intermingled as a mess and no one seems to care. Staff seem to be trying their best and I suspect the issue is up a layer or two.I don't usually feel mental pain shopping at a store but here I do. Avoid this location and shop elsewhere. Only corporate can save this store.

Honestly wish I could've done 0 stars. I came into this store with a shopping list of items I needed, and ended up leaving with nothing.Everything I looked at was either opened or damaged in some way.When I asked an employee for assistance finding something, one of the ones wearing a vest that said 'ask for help' she just shook her head at me and walked away.Gladly will not go back here.

The store in general has declined to below acceptable city standards. The floors are filthy and sticky. There are empty boxes just thrown into a refrigerator bay. The refrigerator bays are missing doors. Bikes fallen over just laying on their sides as staff just casually walks by them doing seemingly nothing. As for government employment equity laws, the store manager seems unaware of any such laws, or doesn't care. Only one type of ethnic background to be found there. With the state of the store and its unequitable hiring practices the manager should be fired and the location shut down. It's a disgrace

Completely unacceptable, you hire all these people to work and you have bare shelves? Why is it that I have to travel to another Wal-Mart to waste my gas to get something I could have just simply obtained from my local store.Ridiculousness at its finest, talk about MENTAL HEALTH, NO!! ITS CALLED MENTAL GRIEF. You cause this by not doing YOUR!! Job properly as a business that should uphold to the proper standards as their competitors.

This location keeps finding ways to get progressively worse. I think they're actually trying to put themselves out of business. Changing their carts to require quarters to (sometimes be able to) operate was an unpleasant change - especially for those of us who don't use cash. The selection of products seems to be getting worse over time (and I understand how the pandemic impacted it previously, but still?) - and what products they do offer are often near the end of their shelf lives. Now, of course, they've decided to no longer clean or provide customers the ability to clean the carts being used... and given the low cleanliness of the place by their staff, I suspect this will be where our next pandemic begins. (I'm only slightly exaggerating there...)And they (almost) never have cilantro.

I live right by this Walmart and it was great. It was a diverse place and everyone was helpful no matter what race. Now it seems the majority of workers are from India and it is almost impossible to get assistance. The workers will just stand in their area visiting with friends and it seems if your not Indian they will ignore you.

This store is terrible. They make a big deal about special reusable bags in the flyer for months like Pride and Black History month but they are NEVER available in the store, EVER. Also, the whole display for Pride month items is blocked and hidden on either side by palettes of summer items so you can barely see it and cannot reach it. It’s very obvious they do not care about people’s feelings or do not want to sell these items. (This is actually referred to as rainbow capitalism). You need to do better for your customers! ALL customers count and without us you have nothing!

I thoroughly appreciated the support and customer service today. I had two ladies (Nishva- Customer Service Manager) & Avinash ( Fashion Associate) helping me shop and locate clothing on a wish list for a child in need. This took a lot of time and patience. I expected to run around the store looking for all those the requested items but instead they placed me strategically in one spot and brought all of the items to me. I and without words on how grateful I am for such a personable and heartwarming experience. I hope that they are recognized for going above and beyond their call of duty. So would appreciate if someone could tell me where I can speak to this wonderful experience so that they are recognized not just on this review. Ladies, thank you again. Walmart needs more employees like the both of you!

Had a great experience with the one cashier last Thursday, was an older lady with bangs. She did an incredible job, bagged up our stuff super proper and wasn't expecting that at all and super fast too while she was supposed to be on her break, had an amazing attitude too. Had to write something because I've never had a cashier be so kind and efficient, kuddos to her. (:

This store opens with empty shelves, requires coin carts in a day and age where cash is less and less used.I will say this, Its not their fault for wanting coin carts as I am sure people are stealing them, its just an inconvenience.But I often go here to find specific items and they are not stocked. There is no good time to attend to ensure it is stocked.ALWAYS ALWAYS check best before dates. Their bakery was selling food expiring the next day at full price for things like 8-12 croissants.Aside from food. this store is reliable.

I would NOT recommend Walmart Upper James. I had a simple question. Spent my entire lunch hour on hold. Tried several times to call back. The only department that would help me was the Pharmacy. Even when I asked for the STORE MANAGER I was told I would need to be transferred to customer service, and they wouldn't answer their phone on any attempt. Sat on hold several times (after transfer from the Pharmacy) for 10-20 minutes, nothing. I guess they didnt feel like answering them either...."CUSTOMER SERVICE" LOL no customer service here. Find another store to go to. Can't be any worse than this one!

I was in the printing some photos today and the machine was not printing. A very nice young man had taken my money then tried to get it to print. He went to one person and still nothing. He at that point called over his manager who through the whole thing was more concerned about drinking his beverage… . Anyway the manager was very rude and berating to the young man while I was standing there. I have worked in customer service my whole life and never have I seen such a obnoxious manager in my life. I did apologize to the young man for getting him into trouble. It made me want to leave all my purchases right there and leave to never return. This took place at store #3037 at 16:24:31. The manager was a larger fellow with greying hair and beard, I have the receipt if you need more information but I am seriously considering shopping else where. Thank you in advance for looking into this.
