Nice location! Went here to pick up a lawnmower with my dad that was a display model that they had in the back. Very nice service, friendly staff and a good experience overall. Would recommend!!

I had to put in a new clothing line and went to this home hardware location because it was on my route. I had a nice chat with an elderly employee, whom I believe was in his 70s. He took the time to explain what I needed to do. I was very impressed. One week later and I'm looking for putty for the windows in my garage. The store was empty of customers. The cashier was sitting at the cash desk. There was a woman to my right sitting at a computer. I asked her where the window putty was. She went on trying to explain where, at the back of the store I could find it. I still ended up going up and down aisles looking for window putty.
A young man came out of the back and I ask him to show me where I could find window putty. He tried to take me to window caulking and didn't understand what window putty was used for. As far as he was concerned windows come fully assembled in an aluminum frame.
As I walked through the store to leave, the woman at the computer asked me if I found what I was looking for. When I said no she got up from her computer and suggested she help me find it. She should have offered to help me when I came into the store, not when I was leaving.
This home hardware store has poor customer service. The only saving grace for this review was their elderly employee who took the time to help me and was knowledgeable about home repairs. You need to hire more people like him!

Very friendly staff, great cashier, great customer service and great knowledgeable man in plumbing. I thought they were friendly in Waterdown but they are more so in the Queenston Road store.

Just okay. Some items not scanning at the register as advertised in store. Waiting for price checks due to incorrect price tags is time consuming.

I had just bought a brand new stihlvtrimmer FS 38 in April. They already needed to be fixed because it’s not working properly and they advertise a one year warranty
when I bring it in and tell them it’s for warranty service they said that’s fine but then they just fix something else without getting authorization. Expect you to pay for it just watch out this place is shady.
They did waive the fee but had to make a stink not cool
Is industry standard if something is to be done is to be authorized by the client first you don’t just do it and expect a client to pay when they are expected a warranty service for free
Shame on you weeks home hardware

Went there a few days ago with my 2 year old and 4 year old in my heavy duty wagon stroller and this is my local hardware store and I have never felt more disgusted with the employees basically surrounded
me “assuming” I was stealing. It was absolutely pathetic. I had picked out pant swatches for a big project a few days prior to this experience and i can tell you right now I won’t be getting my pant or anything else for future projects from here, nor will I be recommending it to anyone. I will be telling everyone about this horrible experience at the “home of the handy man” 0/5 stars if I could

I am writing to bring to your attention an issue with a product I purchased from your store. On Friday, July 12, I bought a "GENERIC 23.5" x 20.5" Laundry Cabinet with White Ceramic Sink - Stainless Steel" in Hamilton. The cabinet was installed on Saturday, but during installation, we noticed that the drain is completely different from the one on the store sample.

I left the gym next door to find out my key fob wouldn't open my car. I was in an awkward position as my wallet was locked in the car. I headed over to the store and asked a favour to have a new key fob battery installed so I could get into my car and grab my wallet then come back to pay.
Not only did they say Absolutely, no worries! The gentleman took the time to replace the battery in the fob for me. No questions asked!
This is fantastic "small town feeling" customer service that goes far in my books! Of course, I managed to get access to my car and went back to square up. Thanks again ?

Very bad experience today. Wanted to buy a lawnmower for my son. Found a floor person -when I asked about lawnmowers indicted that I had walked by them. This guy was very rude in his response. Has no place in a retail operation interfacing with customers. This is my last time in this store with him still there!
