Do not use this shop, they drove into a car while repairing it, made them pay for the repairs they came for instead of covering the cost as they should have.
They decided to instead hold the vehicle hostage and threaten an old lady they would call the police.
We have reported them to the police, insurance and the better buissness bureau.

It has been a week since i had visited this shop and usually wait and see if anything happens to my vehicle within that time frame, but as i read good things about this place i decided to give them a try and i have no complaints as for what they did, which was my upper & lower intake gaskets as well as valve cover gaskets that i had no time or space to do so, they did the job i paid for and i have no leaks around the areas i spotted oil seeping through, could have done a little more for the amount of money i spent (oil change & coolant flush etc )but you get what you pay for,.. none to less.. haha
Otherwise, great clean place, respectful environment, good communication, trustworthy.
Will definitely make this my second choice go to garage,

They always do excellent work on my vehicles, including my classic 69 Chevy Impala. Great place for auto repair, new tires, and changing seasonal tires. Clean bathroom, nice open sitting area with coffee and tea and water. They always seem to be busy, and yet they have time to help you out.

I come to this service shop on a regular basis. Whitwells auto service always takes great care of my needs and as a women going to these shops it's so refreshing to deal with men in this environment that actually care about my safety and the safety of my vehicle. Shawn and Jamie are the 2 who always approach me first and they are always pleasant and respectful. If I could give a higher rating the 5 stars I would. So to all the ladies who are worried about going to auto shops please know your safe in there hands and they will treat you with the most respect and they will take great care of your vehicle ?

Do not come here if you are a woman! They will take advantage of you! I get a synthetic oil change for $80 flat at my mechanic. Tell me how my sister went in for an oil change and ended up paying $167! Don't trust these people.

DO NOT COME HERE if you are a female/doesn't know oil change prices.
My mother got charged $167 for an OIL CHANGE & FILTER. They charged an additional $30 for labour fees and on top of that, said they "topped up" her washer fluid, later showing they charged her for that as well when she didn't even ask them to.
Be so for real, only come here if you wanna get robbed.

The long time Owners, Jamie and Shaun are total pros. Their experience and professionalism counts for a lot of Whitwell's success as does their staff's great service and knowledge of Auto parts and repairs. But, it's Jamie and Shaun's integrity and honesty that gives the Client a built in trust factor when you take your Auto in for repair or even just a consultation. I have been a client for 15 years and I have found that the trust factor is not always a given at other Auto Service Centres. In my experience Whitwell's is the best Auto Repair Service Centre in Hamilton.
