Ordered Swiss Chalet in Alcona. Chicken was absolutely disgusting. I don’t really know what has happened to Swiss Chalet over the last few years but this will be the last time I spend a cent in this restaurant. It used to be a great dine in and the food was amazing. Now..like Tim Hortons and all the other great Canadian restaurants ..fallen to profits over quality.I asked for well done. Chicken looked like it was boiled and the skin white and rubbery. I couldn’t finish it. Dog loved it.Word is in Alcona that the Swiss Chalet food is sub-par anyways. Whoever runs this place should be listening to their customers. Cook the chicken and check it before it hits the table.

We order from here once in a blue moon due too the fact they always miss at least one item up on our order. We decided to try it yet again. We ordered the family feast. Pick it up and once we get home no chalet sauce. Called 3 times and no one answers the phone. Talked to the corporate phone line and was told I had to drive back to get it. We ordered this meal 1-1/2 hours in advance and still had to wait 20 min once we got to the store. Very unhappy with the location on being unable to pack order’s correctly. Might have to go to Barrie from now on.

I used to go to Swiss Chalet at least once a month for a whole chicken meal to go. I have been going since the original Swiss Chalet in toronto for over 50 years, I'm a big fan. Now they insist on cutting up the chicken into quarters instead of giving it uncut. For the last 2 years I've just gone to Sobeys and got a whole chicken and buy a sauce. Much cheaper. I went back in recently to see if they would give a whole uncut chicken, nope...I'll try in another couple years I guess.

This is not the 1st time that I have gone to this location and they don't have an item! Tonight (7:30pm) they ran out of stuffing and cranberry sauce ... so no festive meal. They should order sufficient product so they don't run out of food .... not too much to ask!

We had a large order for 12, comprising of 3 family meals (chicken + wings) and it was great! The chicken were all cooked to perfection, the wings are delicious and everything was great. We also had a side order of perogies and the cinnamon sugar donuts and they were so, so good! One of my favourite observation was that they tossed the big order of wings in small batches to ensure each one is wellcoated with the sauce. Something so small, but brings out the flavours!The service was amazing — it was raining outside, so they went the extra mile and brought all the orders out + helped us load our car. Thank you!It’s a joint location with Harvey’s! we cannot wait to do a team lunch at Harvey’s next time. Highly recommend this spot for a delicious lunch!

We got the chicken & ribs meal. The ribs looks dry and taste like there was some kind of chemical, or something on it. Told the cashier about it. The manager came over and said nothing is wrong with the meat, he check all the meat and they only keep meats for 2 days. Disappointed couldn't eat the ribs.

I went in for a Family Pack, service was excellent, polite and friendly. I ordered a Family Pack to go it took about 5 minutes. 10 minute drive home the food was still fresh not soggy at all and it was a big portion for the money for sure. Great value, i do not even consider this to be fast food it was healthy and delicious.

Absolutely blown away, the staff at this location are the friendliest I’ve met anywhere, (besides my work maybe, lol.) Special shout-out to Kevin and Sabs, always giving me a warm welcome. Keep at it guys!

I eat here at least 3 times a week. Sometimes daily. Cant get enough of the soup! I have a procedure tomorrow and asked if it's possible to get just the broth (which i realize is such a d*ckhead request), and the staff to my surprise made it happen for me. Very thankful for the quality of this location. Everybody there is always working very hard with a positive attitude. I hope that their excellency is recognized by upper management. Very rare to have such a solid group of guys & gals
