Food Basics is a decent store with generally clean and organized aisles, offering good quality items at decent prices. It is a frequent choice for staples in dry, frozen, and boxed goods, with dairy and produce also considered fine. However, the store is very small and often sells out of flyer items. Selection can be lacking in specific departments like gluten-free and dairy-free products. Some customers note the store can feel unorganized at times. Since installing self-checkout, service has declined, with staff perceived as less customer-oriented than at other grocery stores.
It's fine, the fresh stuff is passable but the prices are good on pretty much everything. Lots of frozen options

The staff working on March 25th around 8pm, was wonderful! My daughter was looking for her aunt (Marco-Polo). All the staff joined in. It was so cute! She had so much fun. Thank you very much!
