Thank you so much, G&I Automotive. My mom was out of town in Kanata and started to have car issues, and you treated her with exceptional kindness and patience.
G&I Automotive went above and beyond to help my mother, someone from out of town who had never used their services before, when she showed up out of nowhere with car issues. She explained to them what was happening with her car, and that she was elderly and unfamiliar with cars, and they treated her with respect and kindness. They quickly diagnosed and fixed the problem with her car (a loose battery terminal) and did not charge her, which was an additional kindness.
Thank you, truly, both Brian and Nick -- she wrote down your names so that she could ask me to explicitly thank you both for the kindness and patience that you had for a stranger. There are too few people in the world who would react as you did, and we're grateful for you both.

Thank you to Brian for some amazing customer service. While I did not yet have the pleasure of using G&I’s services, I felt that the customer service even whilst not yet being a customer was top notch and he was very polite so it’s my pleasure to voice my opinion.

G&I offer amazing service. They’re consistently reliable, professional, and easy to deal with. Whether it’s a routine check-up or something more complicated, they take the time to explain what’s going on without any pressure or upselling.
It’s clear they care about doing a good job and looking after their customers. The quality of their work has always been solid. It’s great to have a local mechanic you can count on.

My car stalled on the highway and got towed to GI Automotive, the closest garage we could find. The receptionist, Eric, was very friendly and helpful. He explained that the shop was fully booked and might not be able to inspect my car until the end of the week. I left my car there and came back the next day, suspecting it might just be out of gas. Eric kindly sent someone to help me fill it up, and it turned out that the gas was indeed low. They didn’t charge me anything, and the customer service was excellent. Highly recommend!

Eric is one of the best people I’ve dealt with in the entirety of my car repair process. He was honest and sincere and I’m honestly just so grateful I found this mechanic shop. He was flexible and communicative and organized. Like truly I can’t say thanks enough.

Super reliable and friendly staff! I’ve been having AC issues for years and they were able to fix it and have the car ready the next day. Also gave me some great tips for maintaining my car after. Will definitely be coming back in the future!

This place is incredible! Eric was gracious and very communicative throughout our brake replacement. From the moment I contacted them, to the time I picked up my keys I felt well informed of the repairs and associated costs. They got to the root of the problem (inner side of the rotors were grooved, which wasn’t visible from a quick external investigation) and the pricing was fair. Thanks Eric for a great experience - truly a pro.

Great shop. They were very professional, honest, and did great work. Excellent service, and good prices. I went in to put my summers on and I came out with a list of things to keep an eye on and realistic timelines for when they’d need to be dealt with. I dealt with Eric, he was awesome through the whole process.

Testimonial - Yesterday we had just started out on vacation 9 hour drive with young grandchildren and ran into a car problem. I asked around in Kanata and was directed to G&I. Without an appointment (and the shop was full of cars) they pulled a tech off a job, were able to do a quick fix for us and send us on our way in 10 minutes. On top of that they were very generous to us when paying. I have an automotive background and was very impressed with this auto repair shop! I highly recommend them! John Bustard
