I am extremely disappointed with my experience. After purchasing a car, I encountered numerous red flags. The car wasn’t properly detailed, it was missing floor mats, and they forgot to repair the rust on the roof. They also failed to provide the promised cargo tray and didn’t tint the front windows as agreed. To make matters worse, I had to return the car the day after I picked it up due to a clicking noise from the muffler. I genuinely question what they are doing during their inspections.
Additionally, the finance representative seemed more focused on rushing me through the process rather than providing adequate time for decisions. It took over a week just to get the ownership back for my old car. Now, as I try to book a service appointment for a Mazda purchased from a different dealer, they won’t even respond to my calls or web inquiries. I was assured by a virtual agent that they’d follow up in the morning, but now it’s nearly midnight with no response.
This has been the worst experience I’ve ever had with a dealership.

If I could give you a zero that would be appropriate. Never in all my years of buying cars have I experienced such unprofessional conduct as I did today trying to purchase a brand new vehicle ! Didn’t want to spend anytime at all appraising my Cx-5 , was told they didn’t want to waste 45 mins taking all the information into the system and do not even want to price out a New CX7 as I was wasting their precious time . To make matters worse they said come back with your wife !!! Wow really ? I may have had jeans and a T- shirt on but have the ability to have written the cheque on the spot . CHRIS MIELKE

You should never judge a book by its cover as you did today ! Not only did you lose a client for a New Vehicle which I was prepared to buy , you lost a service customer as well for my CX 5 Signature that we have got serviced many many times from you in the past including today for another $589 to put on my winter tires ! I will not hesitate to spread the word and will use your dealership as a prime example of how not to win over a client !!

All sales (Gianni and Mo) and service (Andrew) staff I encountered at Kanata Mazda were pleasant and welcoming!
Gianni and Mo were great during the sales, preparation and delivery process; smooth and seamless follow-up, paperwork and delivery!
Overall, we had a pleasurable experience and would not hesitate to give Gianni and Mo our highest possible recommendation!

Update: They fixed the wiring harness. Service manager did his best to fix the situation. Updated my review from 2 to 4 stars.
Update: I have been contacted by the service manager with an apology. They are looking at the wiring harness even though I did not have an appointment.
Not only did the service associate attempt to overcharge me for the trailer hitch + wiring installation (which happens), he did not care to apologize afterwards. OK, whatever... Now the installation job itself: I found the harness wiring to be resting ON THE EXHAUST in full contact. I had to grab the tools, get under the car and re-route the wiring to avoid the exhaust. After that I checked the trunk and found that my trunk lid had a wet and dirty corner. Like it has been placed in a puddle and then stuck back into my trunk. So I spent the next hour cleaning the trunk lid with dish soap and towels. I knew I should have done the job myself. P. S. The wiring harness does not even work!

I had my first ever experience with them over the last couple weeks. Christina was very nice. Applied for a vehicle and was told that I would be paying a specific amount, with a specific interest rate. Went through the credit process and was then told that the fees would be almost double what I was promised. DO NOT get a vehicle from here. You’ll be promised one amount and then they pull the bait-and-switch and make it twice the amount. Really terrible business practices.

I’ve been a loyal Mazda customer, currently owning both a Mazda 3 (2017) and a Mazda CX-5 (2022). My experience with the Mazda 3 has been great, which is why I chose to buy another Mazda. Unfortunately, my recent experience with the CX-5 has been disappointing.
With less than 40,000 km on the CX-5, I was surprised to learn that the caliper needed to be replaced, resulting in over $1,000 in service fees. The technician mentioned it was “bad luck,” but considering Mazda’s previous recalls for caliper issues, I believe this is more of a quality issue. It feels unfair to have to pay for a repair that may be tied to a recurring defect.
This experience with the CX-5 has been frustrating and not what I expected from Mazda. I hope the company addresses these concerns to maintain the trust of long-time customers like myself.

Very accommodating sales staff, both the individual I dealt with and the Sales Manager. I really only planned a test drive initially but felt comfortable enough to buy a new 2024 Miata the same day. ??

I had good experience with the service there. My mazda 3 engine stopped working one day without any warning sign. Unfortunately the car was sealifted to an island and would be very costly to bring it back for repair. Working with Tim and his colleague mechanic, I got good advice and managed to get the diagnostic code and then isolate the problem to be the mass air flow sensor. The problem will be solved once I get the replacement part, at a fraction of the cost than sending the car for repair. Staffs there are very ready to help out.

I just bought a great car from Mazda Kanata First time ever going there. Well I Never had a better experience. Brittany and Harjinder. Have to be the best team. Mike was ok too. I left there with the car I wanted. And some new Friends it really was an effortless.
