This store is not the best for service..my last experience was less than adequate..the one lady clerk said hello and that was the extent of it..no offers of assistance of any kind....definately could be improved..

I've had a similar experience to Tara Ollins. It felt very uncomfortable, and cold; not the kind of atmosphere I would want in my store as a manger/owner. I know of at least one other person who has had this kind of experience in this store. I suspect it's a common problem.I drove to the Hearst location and the staff were helpful, polite and professional. I bought a pair of work boots that I needed.I understand the current climate is making people wary, however finding a rational balance goes a long way in retaining customers.

I would give it a 5 stars for service. All workers there are so helpful. However, because It's a small store, they seldom have things in stock. Ordering is quite simple and their return policy is the best.

They greeted me with sanitizer, the store was neat and clean, and the service was quick and pleasant. Always a pleasure.

So today I went into the store aug 19. The lady said what ever we touch we have to bring with her due to covid19 she has to sterilize anything we touch. So I asked what’s happening to clothing. She told me that it would be put into quarantine if I touched any clothing. I was trying to be polite and make small talk and when I said I was thankful we don’t have Covid here in a kap she told me that wasn’t important And not the point and made me feel as if I wasn’t valued and what I said didn’t matter. I felt so unwelcome. I have never been treated like this before and I don’t plan on making any returns to the Kapuskasing location. My shopping local will be with another local business who appreciates their customers and has understanding and empathy. Not so cold feeling. I believe retraining needs to be done at this store!
