1. Everytime we have a credit card or debt card ordered to our home, confirmed by their reps, it ends up going to the branch. Bigger issue is the branch does not call. How hard is it to do the mail calls? 3rd time with the same issue.
2. Every time I want to do a simple action, open a account for my child, renew a GIC, pay extra to my mortgage, they tell me that I need to speak with an advisor and no one is available and I can make an appointment. First of all, I can see Bobby playing on his phone for the last 15 minutes and Sally in a coworkers office yapping about her weekend but no one can take 3 seconds to get a signature to perform a simple transaction? Many banks allow these actions to be done ONLINE only, and I need a specific appointment with ANOTHER new advisor.
3. In 4 years I have never been able to work the the same person. Every 3 to 6 months when its time to make a change I meet someone new becuase the turnover is so high. Every time I have to try to explain my plans with my two business, my wife's business, and all of our other finances. Last guy wasn't even professional enough to say thank you, goodbye, congratulations..... nothing. The telemarketers have more manners.
4. Lastly, I understand asking someone about large cash deposits or withdraws. But if I ask for $6000 and first, im questioned why, regardless of my answer (buying a car) I should get my money. You do NOT need to see proof of a bill of sale!!! You do NOT need to question where or why. It's my money and its not 100,000 im asking for. You shouldn't need to give your bank a week notice and proof of purchase to get a few thousand dollars!

Because they do not invest in the tech to update hours in real time
I have shown up 2 days in a row (at 3:30!) only to find out they decided to close early each day.

Never have money in their atm. Can only get $5 bills up to 250. Rip off. Aiming at a cashless society and tracking spending.

Love them they are the best! Summer the customer service manager I believe has been there for a long time and never fails to preserve the integrity of the customer service at this branch.this bank is awesome!! 10/10 very clean

The staff goes out of their way to be helpful ! I've been banking there for over 21 years ! I was in hospital at one point and my husband was in need of a money order and could not make it to the bank at closing time ?The lady brought it to my hospital room' !!

See a lot of negative reviews here so thought I’d share a positive experience.Had a good experience dealing with Advisor, Gerard Furlong. In a very busy time with bank of Canada raising rates, he still went above and beyond to ensure my concerns were heard and escalated appropriately. He has been great to work with on my banking needs and I look forward to continuing utilizing his services in the future. Thanks Gerard!

Terrible service - was told there were countless issues with their systems and that there wasn't anything they can do. Went for a meeting to set up my pre-approved account and they weren't able to do it because of my hyphenated last name, huge waste of time. Told us that unless we moved all our banking to Scotiabank (we have our mortgage with them) then we wouldn't have enough credibility with the bank for a line of credit - but then offered a very large balance credit card.When I tried to get in touch with our advisor after she sent out our file for review, we left several messages and never heard back.I would avoid.
