just spent $65 on premium gas at 23h48 and they would not let use the washroom citing rules says they are closed until 7h... i will inform google it is not a 24 hour location... staff was rude about this "rule" had nothing to offer in way of an alternative. i was forced to pay to use a washroom at a dive bar downtown that was occupied by vagrant drunks and addicts.
no information about the store being closed was listed on google to pre-inform me of this "rule" nor was it displayed on the pump. when you travel across the country every gas station is a washroom as well. shell no doubt understands this.
the store remains open with the ability to sell food through a security drawer, not sure if selling food and drinks without affording access to a toilet is legal in ontario.
this "rule" needs to be prominently stated online inside this google place listing so that people like me do not get fooled into doing business with someone who baits you into their business off a hwy with false / inaccurate listing data and no on-site signage indicating that the washrooms have restricted hours.
another solution for this "business" would be to have two listings wherein the store is it's own listing with hours and the gas pumps are another listing where explicit unmistakeably listed and overtly viewable information about the pumps having no washrooms or store is clearly stated.
scamming travellers remains one of the most crass things you can do in business, especially when you are doing so in the dead of the night.

The person was completely rude to me working july 16th at 1isham, 2024. I was running night time snacks with my friend. The person wasnt at the window and was taking a 5 minute break. Understandable! But when I was looking to see to make sure what I wanted was there he came out and gave me a dirty look(maybe he has rbf). I took a little longer and he tried making me order right away even though I was making sure what we wanted was in there. I went to the window and I didnt see the button thing since i was tired and was trying to be quick to order snacks. Sure, understandable again why he got a bit fustrated. But when I ordered. He grabbed my friend the wrong thing, we told him something different instead since they didnt have the one she was looking for. Anywho, he was rude, Impatient, and wasnt easy to understand. Yeah, I was in lazy clothes but my friend was dressed nicely. Yes we are Indiginous but doesnt mean her and I are the sterotypical druggies, alcholic and trouble makers. I have a stable job along with 2 side jobs helping my parents out. I hope my next night run snack goes better than what this guy had if I come back at night

3 men wait across the street for you to start pumping gas before surrounding you and trying to either rob or carjack you, ain't sure what. Not the owner's fault, OPP just lets em out next day. Props to them for running patrols all night though or I might not be typing this right now. If you HAVE to get gas in Kenora at night make sure you have backup.

Full service. Friendly staff. The price for gas was higher than competitors in the area, but is a great location to find groceries, souvenirs and all your sport fishing needs. Clean store. Public washrooms, clean washrooms.

Claims to be open 24 hours - is not. Was searching for a rest stop location along the path across northern Ontario. Showed up and couldn't even use a washroom. Not allowed into the store. That may be 24 hour availability of gas, but it's not actually open 24 hours. Can't comment on anything else for obvious reasons.

This is what I found today in the bathroom. This is a bathroom that you have to pay to use, which is very upsetting. This is not okay. I will reconsider going somewhere else to get gas after this.
