There is an employee there that has been there for years and does not have any customer service in her bones! She’s dismissive, doesn’t use any security measures in terms of transferring money to and from, doesn’t give receipts and completely makes you feel rushed and confused during your visit. As a client coming into the branch prepared with my card and a list of what I need and then being treated as if I’m bothering them.When you go 2 hours prior to close and she tells you she doesn’t have money to exchange. This is a bank! Royal Bank in keswick consistently does not have what you need for the clients. I believe it’s new management and has so much turnover on employees that the bank manager can’t keep any good staff. Must be the manager training the staff to not follow proper policies as well. I always dread going to this bank!!

Worst stupid branch. Its my money, doesn't matter now much but they won't even let me access it is saying it needs to sit for 2 days. Sit for what? Is the money tired. Don't go here, cheap, and just dumb. Not my words, the words of my lawyer.* UPDATE - the next day I went to my previous Markham branch (richer, and shows with their newer computers and office). They took no time in making my two drafts and had no issues with the amount. If you want your work done professionally, without stupid made up rules, go somewhere else other than Keswick.

Kevin Walke is the only reason RBC gets any star. Conventional banks are a scam. Transferred a RRSP to another RRSP, which took 10 days to complete then got charged $150 for the "service". This is after the years of management fees already charged. Spoke to my bank (Simplii) and of course there would never be such a charge applied from their institution. The remote client care team is pathetic. After a complaint was submitted, 10 minutes later it is "resolved" called the number provided and sat on hold for 30mins. Disgraceful. So much time wasted...

Been banking with rbc since I was 12 yrs.Been over 10 yrs with them and started up a savings account for my son and had my wife combined with it. There was supposed to be a SOFT credit check but to find out it was a HARD check and it caused her credit score to go down. Not something we signed forDo not deal with Carolyn Gunter-SmithThey will screw you over terribly.Will be coming to talk to the branch manager about this issue and to get an incentive or i will be changing banks immediately

RBC shamelessly applied twice a fee on two separate deposits made by the employer of my company.RBC never disclosed these fees with me upon opening my business banking account. It makes no sense that the payee to be exposed to fees when all the fees are paid by the employing entity.This is just another hidden fee, something that pays the incompetence in RBC for not doing anything, just accepting the funds in my account.This is very poor if this is the way RBC encourages the small businesses that try to get rolling.The manager from this branch missed the appointment I had with his employee to have my wife registered as a second authorized individual in my company, with access to my bank account.A title or how many ways you can say sorry does not make you manager.I regret making business with RBC and I look forward to close this account when back in Canada.

Terrible service, asked for American money in good condition... was told they couldn't do... next teller was doing exactly that for another customer... been a royal bank client all my life... extremely disappointed.

I was taking a large cash deposit two days ago to RBC Woodbine. Around 3 pm. Unfortunately I did not get the name of the tall blonde who unlocked the front door. She refused to give me access and said i should put it all into the hole in the ATM. I told her I have never deposited any cash that way and did not feel secure doing that. She insisted. I was not happy with how she handled the situation. I told her I will transfer my monies elsewhere which I will do. She was not a regular teller. I had never seen her before. Not good for customer relations. I went to one of my other CIBC. They let me in and I made my deposit no problem! Stay healthy!

Horrible service recieved last week from teller Lynn and the Russian branch manager. Refused to give me my money when I lost my bank card.. Spent over thirty minutes answering questions, gave them my SIN, drivers license, health card.. Mastercard, yet they still didn't want to release the money until I told them I will complain to head office. Planning to escalate to head office because shaming and stressing out a long term customer is unacceptable.

Worst experience ever. Booked a confirmed appointment for a student loan with a LIVE person for Tuesday Aug 6th at 4pm, show up and no one knows the representative I'm there to see. Even showed them my emaild confirmation! Drove 2 hours for nothing for this appointment and my daughter drove 3 hours, so we could be told we have to re-schedule. WOW awesome customer service RBC!!!. That was Tuesday; today is Thursday and no one has made any contact with me. Great management RBC!!! I was able to get an appointment with TD bank right away. For all those looking for a bank, TD has much more flexible hours to offer and they actually have someone sitting in customer service who can answer your questions. Epic fail on RBC; 0 stars if possible. Stay away, go somewhere where they care!
