My interactions with the pharmacist themselves have been good for the most part, however their staff should be trained on how to treat people. As regulated professionals, you should hold yourselves accountable for the way your staff interacts with the public. As a local business owner and a regulated professional myself, I am disgusted with the way I was treated today.Update: The pharmacist did call me later and make an attempt to resolve this equitably. I am increasing my score to 2. I will consider increasing the score again if positive interactions continue.

I’m so angry right now! I moved all of my prescriptions from another pharmacy because Rexall is closer and has better hours. This was 6 weeks ago.So far, they have given me the wrong medication twice, never let me know when my meds were in. I’m now 5 days into withdrawals from my medication because they messed up.They blamed my Dr for now replying. I called my Dr who said they DID call it in.I hate to think about seniors who rely on professionals to help with their health care.This is dangerous for anyone who isn’t able to advocate for themselves.Heading in today to pull ALL my prescriptions and go back to where I was before.Plan to tell them face to face how I feel.

I don't understand how the line can be busy when its an automated answering service, its always an issue trying to through, I shouldn't have to come into rexall just to have my prescription filled to then have to come back. Really really inconvenient- hate the phone system

They should probably hire more bodies....that being said, when you walk to the pharmacy area they don't greet you. A "Hi, I'll be with you in one minute" would be nice. The wait times in person and on phone are extreme. Please hire more people, I'll change my rating when the service gets better.

I don't usually write reviews; however, I thought people should know to steer clear from using this pharmacy. To say that the staff there is incompetent and unorganized is an understatement. Every single time I have a prescription to be filled, there is an issue. They are very quick to say, "we didn't receive anything", when in actuality, they don't check. This has happened to me numerous times. I have never in my life experienced such poor service from a pharmacy. As a healthcare provider myself, I can empathize being understaffed and busy. That being said however, the staff here are just incredibly lazy and do not follow through with what they tell you. Last, but not least, the wait times on the phone are ridiculous. You're on hold for at least 20-40 mins, just to be told they didn't receive anything or the medication is not ready when they said it would be. You will be waiting 2-5 days for your medication.I'm very happy I switched. Please do yourself a favour and DO NOT go here.

I am severely disgusted by the staff of this pharmacy! After umpteen times of trying to order a special diabetic meal replacement for my father they are giving us the runaround that the product is on "backorder". After 2 weeks of being told it will come in tomorrow, tomorrow, tomorrow, tomorrow never came! We get a call from "Theresa" today stating that the product is backordered and if my father can use a substitute? We know your pharmacy lied and we know you scrambled to try and call other pharmacies (even Southlake) to source the product! We will be filing a formal complaint with the Ontario College of Pharmacists. We are deeply disappointed with Rexall's extremely poor service, general lack of patient welfare and overall total disregard in this urgent matter! We are left scrambling days before Christmas!Thanks for nothing!

I like to give a place a couple of chances before I write them off, but this last month was the end of using this pharmacy. I called in a prescription last week, and 6 days later it still was not filled. I have never in my life had a pharmacy where they have not had my medication in stock, or a dosage similar until they order it in. No other options offered, just 6 days without the medication. I called another pharmacy and they were very confused why they did not have the med, as they are not on back order?Second major issue in the last couple of weeks: I was prescribed a new injectable medication. The dr barely counselled me, I had to ask for info, it was not offered, and he let me leave without giving me the needle tips for the medication. It wasn't until I asked, that he said "oh, you have to buy these..." then showed me the needle tips. You would think he could take a couple of minutes to ensure I knew everything I needed to know for a new med. ALSO, there was an error on the printed directions on the medication package with the incorrect dosage information, my new pharmacist explained they had made that error, not my NP who had prescribed it. I am sorry, but I am certainly never returning.
