This location is overrun with pride gay propaganda and poor service ' it's not my job kind of workers ' always make you feel inconvenienced if they have to make a phone call or look anything up.

I've used Scotia Bank Keswick and had no issues yet, unlike Minets Point Barrie.

The worst bank I have ever had to deal with and I’ll go into detail so customers are aware.
I don’t remember the Bank Tellers name, so I’ll describe what she looked like -
She was Black with Dreadlocks.
I drove down from Toronto as I was purchasing a Snow Plow on FB marketplace here in Keswick for my business.
I tried making a withdrawal at this branch from my business account - after providing the correct pin I was asked a line of questioning from this Bank Teller -
“What is your mothers maiden name”
“Name a recent transaction on the account”
“Why am I taking out money”
“Why am I coming to this branch in Keswick and not my home branch”
“What am I taking out this money for”
“Why wouldn’t I buy the Snow Plow new”
“Why couldn’t I purchase one closer”
After her last question I say “I don’t think this is standard questioning. Is it really any of your concern what I use my money for?”
She replies “Im just curious and find it strange”
I say “What is strange?” (she doesn’t reply) Then asks for photo ID.. I provide my Drivers License and she starts staring at her screen and back down at my License for 10 minutes so I go “Why is this taking so long the names obviously match?”
She replies “Yeah they do but I find this strange and think I need to see a second form of ID” I reply “how many people do you think share the same name as me with the exact same business registered to them? The Pin matches, the security questions match and the name sure as hell matches what are we even doing here?”
*25 minutes have now gone by for a simple withdrawal*
She replies “This is just for your security”
I reply “I think ill be fine”
She then calls her Supervisor over to help her(trust me she needs it) she then starts whispering to her Supervisor (probably some nonsense to give me a harder time)
The Supervisor then proceeds with my withdrawal and provides it to me and she walks away.
I ask the Teller can I have a envelope she replies “sorry we don’t provide those to customers anymore” which is a complete lie just to give me a hard time but I would expect that from someone like her - as she had as much class as she did brain cells.
*45 minutes for a withdrawal*
This branch needs to hire better staff.

Extremely disappointing experience. The teller did not listen. Showed attitude. I specified my banking needs, and she stared at me annoyed because I was waiting to see if she understood my request. She did not understand. Made an error that she was unable to correct, affecting my account history. No apology. Pointless visit to the bank. Complete waste of my time.

Service is good but you would think a bank would be open until at least 6pm. How are the working class supposed to do there banking that they need to see a teller for.I’ve heard of bankers hours but in today’s age that’s just ridiculous.. Keswick is a blue collar town. Do the right thing. Don’t make people loose pay just to do their banking..

So far I had the good experience with this branch in last 1 year but recent one gave a sour taste. I want to renew the mortgage and reached scotiabank contact center and visited branch too. Brett from the branch assured to help me with loan and setup appointment for 2:45 pm. No call came from him so I reached keswick branch around 4PM. Brett lied on my face and said to give call in the noon but I showed my phone that it was not. Anyway, I told him that tomorrow I will wait for his call else I will go with other bank and again no call from him. My 3 yrs association with Scotiabank will be coming to end bcos of this branch executive's incompetency.

Went into this branch today to exchange American bills. I have been doing so with my home branch (Lindsay) for years. The Keswick branch would not accept the bills, citing that they "weren't crisp" enough. They were not torn or wrinkled, in totally normal condition. Absolutely ridiculous - you're a bank, its money?. No worries though, we walked over to TD and had absolutely no issues. We won't be visiting this branch again.
