I recently had the pleasure of dining at The Rach House, located within Killarney Mountain Lodge, with a group of friends. The experience was nothing short of fantastic. To start off, I ordered the Kale Caesar salad, and it was an absolute delight. The kale was fresh and crisp, and the dressing had just the right balance of tanginess and creaminess. It was a refreshing and healthy way to begin the meal. For my main course, I opted for the smoked chicken with mashed potatoes and Brussels sprouts. The chicken was beautifully cooked, with a smoky flavor that added depth to each bite. The mashed potatoes were incredibly creamy, and the Brussels sprouts were cooked to perfection, maintaining a satisfying crunch. The combination of flavors and textures in this dish was truly outstanding. After dinner, we made our way to the Carousel Lounge, where we enjoyed a couple of drinks and listened to Duncan perform. Duncan was not only a talented musician, but he also made the effort to engage with the audience by playing songs we knew. This personal touch created a warm and inviting atmosphere that added to the overall enjoyment of the evening. The entire experience at Killarney Mountain Lodge, from the delicious food at The Rach House to the pleasant atmosphere of the Carousel Lounge, was exceptional. I highly recommend visiting this establishment for a memorable and delightful dining experience.

The Sudbury East Chamber has held our 2023 Business Awards Gala at the Killarney Mountain Lodge. Everything was amazing; Staff was helpful and friendly, the food was fantastic, and the lodge is beautiful. Thank you for everything and can't wait to return!

I've been coming to the lodge yearly for almost a decade, first as a camper bookending my camping stays, but now with a baby, and I only grow to love it here more. This year, Kelly and the rest of the staff went over and above to accommodate my family and baby's needs. I can't thank them enough for their attention and help, truly. I would be remiss if I didn't mention Duncan Cameron, his music in the Carousel elevates the experience. Special shout out to Kelly, Bungee, Darlene, Jodi and Helen. It's not just the beautiful landscape that makes this place so special, but the people who run and enliven the place.

Wow. Such an amazing gem in Ontario. The chef is absolutely phenomenal & the staff is so friendly. We came in by boat, so we did not stay at the lodge. (This review is only for the restaurant & bar). This is 100% worth a stop on a Killarney tour. We had a few entrees from the menu & one special entree. Everything was amazing.

Best restaurant in Killarney. The Cesar Salad is a HUGE portion, also really recommend the trout and beef appetizers. Great service & fun vibe. Love the game room.

Kids loved this. The resort fee was very reasonable for boats, the pool was heated, we used their kayaks and bocci balls. There were also bikes but I didn’t see helmets so we didn’t try those.

Made us put the fire out and basically made a bunch of excuses why we shouldn’t have a fire when (THEY ADVERTISE HAVING FIRES IN THE MAIN FIRE PIT) very under staffed not one kind face around here and they act like it’s a hassle to do anything for there guest’s. People in the cabin beside the fire pit complaining about using the wood that’s beside their cabin when the front desk told us to retrieve wood from there. Everything is very overpriced for what you get. I’ve been coming for years and this trip has totally wrecked our experience. *WOULDN’T RECOMMEND* Do better!

Extremely disappointed staff does not answer the phone doesn't matter if you call 1 or 10 times then you go to the desk and see that there is no one there. I came back to my room, one of the maintenance and the person staying in the next room over were in my room as my door was squeaky, and they had complained about the door, so somebody that was not even staying in my room was allowed in my room with maintenance while they were fixing my door, which I find highly unprofessional, and a huge security risk. The webpage as well as flyers it shows and previous years that we've attended it allows you to have campfires to be had at the main fire pit which is also a source to cook food, midway through our trip we were approached by a manager, instructing us to immediately put out our fire as we were not allowed to have fires, however, there was not a fire ban in effect even though staff, each night have been providing us with wood to have a fire to cook our food on, which is so shocking when there is a grill right beside the fire pit to go on top to cook food on. This is highly disappointing , which in turn caused us to purchase food and our food to spoil, which was completely out of our budget and the food that we did purchase was burnt nachos small to go portion it was absolutely ridiculous When booking the room, a campfire was a part of the expectation and experience. Our last night there I was looking out of my room, and I noticed that people were having a fire. However, I was extremely upset that we were banned from even being over there. I did not attend I was in utter shock that it was allowed after we were told that it was not acceptable. I had my child with me and they were crying that we weren't able to have a fire when we had planned and came all this way to have a fun experience and it was kiboshed. I have had multiple charges come out of my account and back into my account. None of the staff seem to know what they were doing everyone says that they are understaffed, and nobody even walks around with a smile on their face, paying that kind of money you expect exceptional service, while getting food in the carrousel room the servers in there did not even come to our tables to take our order I can see if it was busy or somebody else was in there. She was minding the bar however, there was not a single other guest in there we had a large group, including many elderly people. She refused to come to our table to take our orders and when our food came It was sitting on the bar and I walked up and I said, should I just come and deliver this to the tables she said yes. She did not have a single guest other than us in the bar to tend to she just choose to not serve us. When it's cold and rainy, it would be nice to be able to hang out in the games room. However, the majority of the games are missing pieces or broken again when you're spending that kind of money they should update the games room a little bit more especially if you're going to be serving families. The showers did not even close properly in the guest suites which causes water to pool on the floor, which is a huge slipping hazard. The Killarney Mountain Lodge is absolutely beautiful. However, your after year more occurrences seem to be happening. Staff does not seem to care or be courteous to guests. They're rude, this year alone I have attended the lodge twice this has been a huge expenditure, and I will gladly spend the money if all the services are upheld but unfortunately this has not been the case. I do want to note there is a middle aged pool woman that was very kind every morning she greeted us and was kind that was the ONLY staff member that was wonderful.

Dinner and service at the Lodge was disappointing, with inexperienced staff and mediocre food. The brand new Convention Center is breathtaking, built with materials and technology way over the top. That restaurant is drop-down beautiful and probably spectacular, but priced well above our comfort level.

We stayed at the La Cloche dorms because the other options were above our price range. The resort itself is absolutely beautiful and offered us access to many amenities (kayaks, pool, tennis courts). There are two great hikes with access near by. Food on the resort was expensive and there were very few other options nearby. I can't say that I would ever stay at the La Cloche dorms again (men's bathroom top floor and women's bathroom on main floor; rooms were very small and need to be updated), but I would recommend coming to the resort.

Stayed here for two nights with my wife and two dogs in a Georgian Bay Cabin. Cabin was clean and perfect for us and our two dogs. The resort was very dog friendly and we took our two boys on to their patios and extensively hiked in and around the park. Easy to get to the Killarney PP office from the resort as well. Staff were all friendly and were beyond nice to our dogs. Fantastic stay.

Our staying didn’t start well, but with an extra accommodating manager Eljos became a joy. This man deserves all the credit for his exceptional social skills and willingness to help.We also took a boat trip to the lake Topaz which we highly recommend. I have a back issues and was hesitant to undergo this experience but our guide Amanda was extremely helpful and “walk me through it” ? I have traveled through Europe and South America but I have never met such a exceptional, well educated and caring person. We enjoyed our staying, dining, excellent service and with the words of Arnold Schwarzenegger “We will be back”.Rooms: Clean, comfortable and quiet.
