Took my van to Carstar in Kincardine to get the front bumper fixed after someone ran into it. Jordan and Gail were super friendly and communicative and everything was done when they said it would be. Not sure if this is the norm but they even cleaned AND detailed my van before returning it to me. Would definitely return!

Had my car fixed and was super impressed with the service and the work performed. Not only did they clean the interior they also ensured my car was ready in time for me to attend a medical appointmentI also had some further damage done not covered by insurance which I plan on getting fixed in the near future and they reinforced the damage . Highly recommend Carstart very satisfied customer!

We took our Tuscon to Carstar for repair on front bumper and, despite some qualms due to bad reviews, we had a great experience. Staff kept us updated throughout repair process, they were great with Enterprise car rental agency and our car was finished when advised. Our car was dropped off to them spotless but it was returned to us even cleaner - inside and out. They even took some stains out of the carpet that we couldn’t! It’s hard to tell in this weather, but so far the colour paint match looks great and all looks great, plus all work is guaranteed.

Great service at Kincardine Carstar. I had a large dent in my passenger door from a parking lot hit-and-run. Carstar replaced the door quite quickly, once the parts came in, and returned my car to me SPOTLESS. They went above and beyond. Fingers crossed I do not need to return, but if something ever happens to my vehicle again then I will definitely turn to them.Service: Body & Trim

Sorry to say this, but terrible work. They took one rock dent on my hood and turned it into 3. The paint barely matches and on a brand new truck, you can plainly see where the factory paint ends. It has the texture of a bad rattle can job.Then to top it all off they put my hood on crooked, there was a 1/2 inch gap on one side and the other painted metal parts were touching. They readjusted it, only to have it on the other side. The dealer put it on properly for me.I can already tell the paint job has a lifespan that is reaching its end after only 2 years, it's getting cloudy and hazy, despite me being meticulous about keeping it clean, polished and coated.

My Jeep was damaged by hail and this resulted in many dents. In spite my insurance company delaying my claim due to a bureaucratic misstep. Carstar was extremely helpful with my claim, they did a great job and finished the job early. Locals and dealers recommend these guys and I can definitely see why! Do not bring you car here, ever.Took over 1 year to poorly complete a paint and stripe job (Carstar's craftsmanship was akin to whiteout painted on the car by a child). Eventually had to go to another shop to redo nearly all the work and remove damage Carstar caused. The owner agreed to this, but this resulted in nearly 6 months of accosting the owner for compensation.Service: Painting

It was such a nasty, icy morning and I put my car in the ditch. The tow truck operator was very friendly and prompt. It wasn't a nice day to have to be out in that weather. Karl at the office was very nice, helping me coordinate me getting things looked after on the business end of things and they treated me very fair with my bill. I recommend this local team if you need a tow for sure!

CarStar Kincardine – Stay Away from this “0” to Customer respect Service NOT provider.I had a car accident on the beginning of February last year when my car lost back part due to the accident. My car was transported from accident location to CarStar Kincardine for repairs estimate and acceptance by my Insurance Company to proceed. Long story, but … my 2017 Rogue SL was repaired by CarStar Kincardine. They (CarStar Kincardine – CSK / They) had many issues and delays with price acceptance by Insurance Company – I can understand that, but they had well more issues with parts for approved and required repairs – not fit / didn’t work / not for this model / not required colour – that was about back door assembly for my Rogue which should be in Orange but came White or Silver (as per CSK management) – already don’t remember all different reasons they had NOT to start repairs or for delay with completion. Finally, …I received my car back on April 1st 2019 (was with CSK around 40-50 days, including estimate acceptance) – what a happy Owner I was.The quality of repair – so/so. They said – they received not requested color of back door and had to re-paint it (that time I trusted them, not now…). Back door was installed, but water was leaking inside the car … They just forgot to apply silicone for back window glass connected to Back door frame … OK, was finally done … The paint they applied – car back black plastic bumper was painted with nice orange colour + white prime, I believe … and so on. See pictures attached.During Repairs they damaged dash odometer glass (plastic, really) during DRY (instead of wet) cleaning – see pictures. Driver leather armrest support (between driver and passenger seats) was left with Glue they used for something inside – see pictures, and one of plates around shifter was also broken – pictures attached.I reported to CSK Manager all issues and we agreed they will fix them ASAP. Manager was not sure about plastic plate damage (around shifter) and promised to review my car As Left pictures (final after repairs complete pictures) and … “nothing I can see on pictures” was his replay.And the Main Story started right there … - 7.5 (almost EIGHT) months I visited CSK to complete last 3 repairs “after repairs” – July 8-9, August 20, September 30 and finally 3 long days!!! November 18 to 20th (plus at least 6-10 times between mentioned dates when I stopped by to ask if they received required parts and when …+ many calls to ask about status). Week before 18-20 November 2019 they requested car for 3 full days because replacement of damaged (by them) glass/plastic over Dash odometer… as per Manual (what they said) should take 3 full working days (required disconnection and removal of full dash assembly because glass supporting hardware is located on the back of a dash) … + damaged by glue armrest support top cover and plastic plate around shifter, all together … would be complete, finally. I agreed and provided my car, as requested. 1st day - Monday 18 November 2019, at 9 am I delivered my car, Temporary rental car for me (agreed!) was not available, OK. I came back to Repair Shop again on the same day at 5 pm – rental car was still not available – REJECTED rental car and asked to complete repairs Finally and ASAP. Came next day at 5 pm – was told by Manager that ALL repairs complete, they just need to “click” dash back to place and check couple of “things” and at noon on Day 3 I would be able to pick my car … Came back to Shop on Day 3 at 5 pm … AND ... Finally – NO ONE item from three “damaged during damage repairs” was replaced as agreed within 3 days they had my car on November 2019 - again as usual - item (all 3?) didn't fit as many times before for 7.5 month. “0” Respect to Customer, very low quality of work, no trust to CSK management and NO WAY to use their service anymore – by me or my friends, for sure.I will report to BBB and my Insurance Company with request to check my car repairs Scope of Work completed vs. Scope charged by CarStar Kincardine.CarStar Kincardine? Not, even for free!

Wow! Just wow! Thank you to those at CarStar for the incredible job you did on my 2019 CX5, which I purchased May of last year. Unfortunately we had a rear end fender bender, apparently my car doesn’t like trucks. I am so amazed at the absolute perfection of your repairs. I just went outside (husband picked up car) and my mouth dropped at how amazing my car looks. Not only did you fix the damage perfectly, you detailed the whole car. My wheels are gorgeous! I can honestly say, without a doubt, my car looks newer than the day I drive it off the lot at Mazda. My tires look like you just put a brand new set on. I just want to thank you so much for such a great job. We will be recommending you every chance we get.

Had a deer run into us and took the vehicle for repair to CarStar Kincardine. Can't rave enough about the wonderful customer service, explanation of repairs, car rental set up and the friendly helpful attitudes of everyone we dealt with there. Repairs done and vehicle back in good time! Highly recommend.

The quality of repair. New Back door was installed, but water was leaking inside - silicone was not applied. The paint they applied – car back black plastic bumper was painted with orange colour + white prime. During Repairs they damaged dash odometer glass during DRY (instead of wet) cleaning. Driver leather armrest left with Glue they used inside, and plate around shifter was also broken. Reported issues, agreed they fix them - newer happened for 7.5 month after reporting. Stay away.
