I don’t understand the good reviews at all. They changed my oil a few years back, knocked off a sensor and this cascaded into an unfortunate series of visits which eventually they deemed I needed a whole new radiator. Luckily I sought a second opinion and they quickly found the source of the problem. The sensor was replaced needlessly and Midas refused to refund me for their mistake. Absolutely a horror to deal with! They were very dismissive. I’m summary, I would run as far away from Midas shops as possible if you don’t want to get scammed. The Gardeners road location lost my friends winter tires and used an impact gun to install their new tires resulting in an $800 bill. Run!

My vehicle was in to simply swap summer to winter tires. They did a great job, bagged my summers and put them back in the vehicle. The car was ready on time, no issues…and I think they washed my car!! Thanks! See you in the spring to swap them back.

Amazing customer service, dudes at the front desk are dope, very friendly, my oil was a bit high after topping it up prior and they were able to fix it up immediately. No waiting.

You might consider noting where the customer's car was parked when the work is completed, so you can tell the customer. I couldn't find my car after walking all the way around the back.
Even a staff member was confused when he accompanied me back out. It was parked on a slightly elevated parking area in the A&W parking lot. Something he said that's not normally done.
Partially hidden it wasn't an area I was thinking of when looking for my car.

The staff are always great at the Princesses garage! This visit was no different. The front staff were amazing and my car was fixed and sounding great, thanks to the amazing Tec’s they have. I can never say enough great things about this group!

I'm extremely disappointed with my recent experience at Midas on Princess Street in Kingston. My 2009 Hyundai Accent broke down about three weeks ago due to a faulty ignition cylinder. I had it towed to Midas as it was the closest repair shop. They quoted me $672 for the entire repair, including parts and labor. Feeling stranded and desperate, I agreed to the price. They also mentioned that they would replace all my keys, including providing a new chipped key, which seemed odd but I'm not particularly car-savvy. As a student living on a tight budget, I asked for a discount, explaining that the car itself isn't worth much more than $2,000. They didn't offer any assistance. When I picked up my car, they didn't give me a chipped key as promised. Later, my friends who know more about cars informed me that I had been grossly overcharged. Apparently, the ignition cylinder replacement should have cost around $150, meaning I paid over four times the fair price. I feel cheated and taken advantage of, especially considering my circumstances as a struggling student. I urge everyone to be cautious when dealing with Midas on Princess Street. They seem to be taking advantage of people's desperation and lack of car knowledge. Please be careful and do your research to avoid getting ripped off like I did
