None of the equipment is bolted down which is straight up dangerous especially for people moving weight on machines, two examples of this: the t bar row, as soon as you have 4 or more plates the back starts to lift up and that’s a terrifying thing flipping forward, second things is the pendulum squat, as soon as you have 4 plates or more on it the whole front lifts up when you’re coming out of the hole.
The gym itself has a pretty good variety of equipment with dumbbells up to 120, plus a good variety of cable attachements only really missing cable cuffs. Has a sauna and clean change rooms.
Great gym in the Kingston area.
Update: Owner/Staff went out of his way to talk to me about my concern, he understood for the machines I mentioned and he mentioned fixing the problem with the pendulum. Great guy and definitely cares about his space.

Amazing experience from the beginning. Even though staff were not supposed to work at new years they happen to answer phone while being around and sign me up. they are very sweet and caring. Moreover very welcoming and smiling. All the important machines are there. People who also go there are very friendly and there to work out. It’s definitely my happy place. Highly recommended. Another aspect I like is that You get a key fob which is very handy to use rather than huge plastic card and it’s 24/7 access !!!. I’ve tried all the gyms and so far this one has my heart.

Switched over to Omega after (too) many years with the big box gyms and could not be happier. The gym has a huge variety of equipment, the staff, management and owners could not be more welcoming and they are truly 24/7 - 365 (want to burn off Christmas day turkey at 3am? you can do that here). Highly recommend to anyone looking to make a switch! Best of all, THEY ARE LOCAL!

I was in town for the week and found it an enjoyable experience. The rates are compariable or better to other commercial gyms and the enviorment with people and overall vibes is encouraging.I have some recommendations for owners. I found it hard to get into the gym without a fob on some days even though 10-7 is the staffed hours, i found that the doors were still locked and some staff weren't at the front desk.The other thing is that since i was there for a weeki got a week pass. However, there was no way to really show that(more of an honour system). I think it would work if there was a card that got punched every day you went in to show how often youve been in, or have a card that shows the start and end date.Overall, good gym. I'd go back again and would tell people to go too. Just some things i noticed that could be improved.
