I had a gift card that was misplaced, so I brought it to my local Rona. The young man at the help desk tried to look it up for me. The one thing he said was that there was a balance on my card, but he could not see how much.He called a manager to confirm his findings, and the manager also echoed his response.I was at the store on the 30th Dec 2023, so I knew there would be a delay on the outcome as it was just before New Years. The manager did tell me that she knew someone who could get the info even though it was an older card. The balance wasn't sanificant, around $80. I know the value that was left on the card because every time I used it, the cashier would update the balance on the back of the card.I sent emails to the manager for an update 3 times over the last 7 weeks, but there was no response. After filing a complaint on the 20th Feb 2024, I received a phone call saying that there is no balance and that the manager I originally dealt was trying to apologize profusely, saying she didn't know how she missed all the e emails I sent her. What I don't understand is how such a big company can take advantage of the small people, come on $80.I vowed to the person that I spoke with that I would no longer deal with Rona or Lowes as lowes has bought them out.As we all know, my single little complaint won't hurt this big conglomerate such as Rona.

I had trouble finding someone to help and then never found the product. I ended up going to home depot to get it.

We went to Rona on the west end Princess St. To look for some live edge wood to make 2 shelves in our master bathroom .The gentleman ( sorry I don't recall his name but he had a Vip badge and 14 years on his vest ).They didn't have any in lumber but his suggestion of using the live edge table kits wood without the package would .work . It looks amazing thank you and it was on Sale. Great suggestion.to bad the review doesn't let you post a photo.

This location provides good customer service and lots of Canadian products unlike the new Gardiners Rd location which is horrible.

Your opinion surveys suck.. so much for trying to win 1000.00. Sign up for starlight. Forget it. What a con.

Was sent the wrong product on line and they gave me the run around. Cora helped me with the return and the reordering of the new product. One star for the warehouse for screwing up my order ( printing the right tag and putting it on the wrong box) and 5 stars for Cora for great customer service.

Twice I have been to this location and twice the customer service was less than kind. If the staff aren't happy with their jobs perhaps they shouldn't be in the Service Industry..Rolling your eyes and a sneer look are rude.I think from now on I will go to Rona + on Gardiners Road.

The forecast was calling for rain that day, and I needed a safe place to practice maneuvering in my new wheelchair so I headed to RONA. Excellent greeting by the staff at the customer service desk. The aisles were clear of obstructions, and plenty wide enough for shopping carts and wheelchairs to pass each other safely. Items on the shelves were fully stocked and within easy reach.I didn't find the item that I came in for (really more of a craft supply than a hardware item), but I did find other items that I hadn't expected to find. The long-handled scrub brush being my fav find.A bit tricky to manage the speedbumps in the parking lot with a powerchair but there were plenty of accessible parking spaces.
