I visit this place for their Persian food and grocery. However, in my last few visits they failed to restock, some items are old and the collections are incomplete.I heard that there was a change in ownership, I will wait and see that if I should change my review or not.

One of the best stores for Asian (Bangladeshi) food. The store contains a wide collection. Great place for halal meat as well.

Wonderful place. Lots of fresh halal meat options beef, lamb, chicken, quail, duck, turkey, and organ meats as well. More than a dozen types of fish. Lots of spices, also Shan masala. Loads of traditional sweets from Bangladesh, Pakistan, India, Turkey and Gulf. Great people who run the store. Cooperative and polite. Home delivery available for orders above $35. Now I will get meat from this place only.

i really liked this store, but they unfortunately sold us expired food. and while they did return it, i don’t think it’s okay to not check your inventory regularly (it expired october 2021, so it was very far past it’s date).

Smart is our go-to for halal meat in Kingston, as well as Bangladeshi groceries. The owner is super nice and genuinely kind. The prices are reasonable if not unbeatable. Overall a great place to shop for the culture!
