I love this thrift store where it opened the prices were good for the item and now my daughter is a teenager she likes to get name brands it was ok for the item but now I went there today January 2024, she found a Lululemon and I got to the check out I didn't see the cost of the four items but when they told me 77$, I thought it was high so I asked if they gave me the senior discount and the price didn't changed so when I got home I looked at my receipt to fine out they charged me full price like if I bought this Lululemon brand new I feel off my chair and I had to put up a post on here beware look at the tags before you buy them. It's free to them and why are they charged new prices for. See I'm on a fixed income and to find this out, does not make me happy at all.

Pricier than a thrift store should be. Discounts for seniors, students, or with coupons. On a regular day, for an average shopper, it doesn't feel like a typical second-hand store.

Talize is pretty cool! There isn't really a reason that this isn't 5 stars, I just don't always find good things, but when I do, they're really nice! They have LOTS of clothes and they colour coordinate them in order of the rainbow and size so that makes it so much easier to find things! The service is amazing and everyone is so nice there, they have things such as clothes, books, shoes, painting, board games, chairs, jewelry, music, cutlery, and I'm sure there's some I'm missing too! But overall, this is a great thrift store, and when you drop off things for them, they give you a $5 off coupon too! If I could, this would be a 4.8 stars ?

It’s terrible. You will get charged so much on used stuff because the staff “looked it up”

I went with theintention of buy quite a few things. The coupon I down loaded was only good for one day and it was past.I left my basket of clothes with the cashier.I didn't but anything. It saved me a pile of money.I'm finding these places, Talize, and Value Village to be very expensive as they get all what they sell for free.I'll be spending more of my money at other smaller Thriff stores.

I never get coupons whenever I donate here, and when you donate you are supposed to. One of your employees said I was lying when I said I donated, even though I walked in with a grocery bag and put it in the donate bin at the front. Idk whenever I shop here employees are rude, seems almost like im bothering them. Won't be going here anymore, prices also are ridiculously high for a second hand store, and you sell damaged items as well..

I made my last donation and visit to Talize ever, recently. The prices for used items are through the roof. The fun of shopping in a thrift store for a special find is gone. I expect the profits made here are lining somebody’s pockets. My donations will go elsewhere.

While visiting Kingston decided to stop in and check this Talize location out. I am giving 4 stars due to the smell that greets you as you come in and I think many locations are like this for some reason. The smell is of old clothes and musky and hopefully they will take note. The staff are elderly and mostly helpful but not as friendly as some other locations. The clothes were in decent shape and I score a Mango Trench coat in impecable condition for $24 that retails for $199 and a Gap Sweater for $12 that retails for $79. Did not have much time but I am sure there are other great finds. They did have Banana Republic, H & M so you are sure to find some great finds. All in all would visit again.

Big store, lots of stuff. Well laid out, friendly and helpful staff. Some bargains to be had if you're careful.

Hit or miss. Found myself putting things back due to pricing. But found lots of luck in other areas of the store. Was able to find some really nice things here a few years ago.

Usually very clean for a thrift store, and doesn’t smell musty. The staff are friendly, especially in the change rooms. This is my favourite thrift store because it is organized by colour and style so it is easy to find what you are looking for. Things are in the correct place and clearly labeled. Sometimes prices are a bit high, but that’s no different than any other thrift store in town. They also offer student discounts and ask you at the cash if you have any discounts. The sales are clearly marked right when you walk in so you know what to look for

It's one of the better second hand stores around in Kingston. Gotten lots of great deals and everyday they have something on sale. Another review was saying "prices are insane", then I say go to the mall, shop there for a reality check!

We love(d) this store.. until today. We went in to find **donated** items marked up more expensive than they were at full price! Completely disgusted! There was even a sweater that was priced (still expensive for a second hand store) at $24.99. We went to the cash to find the cashier rang it through stating it was marked wrong and wanted us to pay $68.00 for a donated sweater at Taleze!!!! Never again

Store is really good and they have lots of stuff at reasonable prices, atmosphere was good. All the workers were helpful, just one cashier was behaving somewhat rough, she might be having bad day.Overall experience was great.
