“A hidden gem of a second-hand store! The breadth of selection is incredible - from vintage clothes to nostalgic and contemporary pop culture collectibles. Everything is thoughtfully merchandised and meticulously priced. The proprietor was kind and helpful and packed up the treasures I found quickly and efficiently while I continued to browse the many, many items in the shop. I highly recommend this store - it’s definitely worth doubling back if you accidentally pass the legion building (where the shop is) like we did! Hope to be back and hope others discover this fab store!”
“Mission Thrift Store is one of the best options in town, especially for a larger store.
They have a great selection and the prices still feel reasonable. I would recommend visiting them if you enjoy thrifting.”
“Nice selection of used clothing in good shape (that was all I was interested in looking at, but they do have other houseware items, books, etc). However, everything is organized by color. This makes for an appealing looking rack but very hard to hone in on items of a particular size range. They have no changing room to try on items, don't take returns, and exchanges for credit must be made within 1 day. I can usually tell what type will fit me by looking at them and the prices are good, but wouldn't risk buying pants for myself when I can't try them on.”
“Well all grievances aside, they do let you try on anything they sell and they do let you go to the bathroom without a hassle. One of the only thrift stores in Kingston that let you do this!”
“It's a large store, so lots of stuff to look at. I find them hit and miss for pricing, even within the same categories. There are some deals to be found but, as with all good things, you need some patience.”
“Probably my favorite thrift store in Kingston. You might not always find something but when you do it’s great and the prices are more than reasonable. The staff is always very nice too.”
