We had an excellent experience with Area Rug Shop in Waterloo. They had a huge selection of rugs in the store which was a bit intimidating. The staff were very helpful and patient as they helped guide us to what we wanted. We bought one rug as is and another to be custom sized. Several days before the customer rug was estimated to be ready, we received a call from the manager apologizing because a machine they use for custom rugs had broken down and our rug might be late. I was so impressed they called ahead of time to let us know. Most places would have waited for me to call after I didn't receive my product on time. In the end, they still managed to deliver our custom rug on time. Very impressed with the staff, service and product (we love the rugs!).

Excellent experience at the Area Rug Shop today. Khalid, the manager, was so helpful, knowledgeable and more importantly, honest! He really knows his stuff and was full of great hints and suggestions to choose the perfect rug...which I did! I love meeting genuinely kind people and he fits that to a T. I absolutely insist you go to The Boardwalk location if you need any kind of an area rug. Amazing selection too!

We went to a number of stores looking for area rugs for two different rooms and were frustrated by their final sale/no return policies. Then we tried the Area Rug Shop and were very happy with the quality and selection of rugs and the experience and expertise of the staff. They were very helpful and pulled down every rug we wanted to see on the floor. It's great that any carpet you see is available in almost every size imaginable. We have purchased two area rugs and will be back for a third. VERY happy with and would highly recommend the Area Rug Shop.

We recently purchased an area rug for our living room here. Khalid was very knowledgeable, helpful, and an immensely kind man overall. Very organized store!!! Great selection. We were greated right away and was offered assistance in choosing our rugs. In addition my husband and I were educated on the thread count, durability and care of different types of rugs. Sabastian was awesome and very helpful. Jas. Was the veteran of rugs and extremely helpful.I went in with no expectations as I am very picky and my husband was shocked when we left with carpets. History in the making.Great service, selection and friendly service.

My husband and I went to this store for the first time today and we had the pleasure of getting wonderful assistance from Pranav. He really knows his product very well. All the questions and concerns we had he answered. Amazing service and a wonderful assortment of area rugs. We would definitely recommend this store to anyone looking for area rugs.
