My experience purchasing a laptop from Best Buy in Fairway Kitchener was a complete letdown. Initially, the laptop I wanted was unavailable in-store, and a representative assured me it would be delivered the next day. However, this promise turned out to be far from reality, as it took almost a week for the laptop to finally arrive.When I went to pick it up, hoping for an explanation or an apology for the delay, the store staff displayed a disappointing level of arrogance and indifference. Their lack of accountability and professionalism was striking, making the entire experience even more frustrating. This ordeal with Best Buy in Kitchener left me thoroughly dissatisfied with both their service and their attitude, and I would strongly caution others against relying on them for timely and respectful transactions.

The staff was very informative, and helpful. I went in and they immediately helped out. Answered all questions I asked. Recommended me a very popular, and high-quality product. Will definitely use them again.

Disappointing Experience at Best Buy Fairway StoreRating: ⭐️ (1/5)I recently had an unfortunate encounter at the Best Buy Fairway store that left me thoroughly disappointed with their service. My laptop's Windows crashed unexpectedly, leading me to seek help from their IT technician.Right from the start, my experience was far from satisfactory. The technician quoted an exorbitant repair cost of $399, which was shocking considering the nature of the issue. Despite mentioning that I held a Best Buy membership, the technician seemed insistent on charging me the full amount and even got into an argument about their policy.The technician's demeanor and uncooperative attitude left a bitter taste in my mouth. To my disbelief, I was then told that I needed to provide a government ID with my brother's address to avail of the membership benefits. This arbitrary requirement felt unreasonable and unnecessarily complicated.After this frustrating encounter, I decided to explore other avenues for assistance. I visited a different Best Buy store, the Waterloo location, and the difference in service was night and day. The staff at the Waterloo store were not only courteous but also efficient. They promptly diagnosed the issue with my laptop, without bombarding me with unnecessary questions or policies.In comparison, the Best Buy Fairway store's lack of professionalism, unhelpful staff, and confusing policies left me thoroughly dissatisfied. I would caution others to consider alternative options before seeking assistance at this particular location.

Brutal. There were no employees around the online area for me to get my pickup. Staff huddled in other areas chatting amongst themselves. I finally had to approach someone and ask if anyone wanted to help me.Upon getting my order I wanted to open the box to validate the style of something that wasn’t clear online for my purchase (none on display in store either, in ceiling speakers). I was advised that I could not open the box until after I had “picked the order up in the system” although, as I pointed out to the employee, it had previously been opened. She still refused to let me open the box. But sure, okay, click the button. Once I had “officially” picked up the speaker she told me to use the scissors in their cup holder to open the box. I opened the box with the employee helping me….. seriously….. and found that the speaker would not work for what I needed. She then advised me I had to go to customer service to return the speaker now. Okay, sure. I get to customer service and they tell me I cannot do my return as they need a receipt and the online system can take an hour to send you your receipt once your order has been picked up in the system. So now I need to return to the store another day to do my return.All of this could have been avoided if I could have opened, the previously opened box, with the employees assistance in the first place. I will return my purchase at the Cambridge location tomorrow and I will not return to this store.

I had a disappointing experience at Best Buy recently. I waited for a staggering 2 hours and 30 minutes to get my hands on an iPhone 14. To make matters worse, they refused to offer any form of compensation for the excessive wait time. When I mentioned this to them, they callously shrugged it off, stating that someone had waited even longer the day before. Their lack of concern for customer satisfaction and dismissive attitude left me frustrated. Based on this experience, I cannot recommend Best Buy to anyone.

I want to leave a review about a wonderful person who is an example of a true professional manager, this is Carter Li. I want to note his professionalism in communicating with clients, his patience, knowledge, he is so approachable and intelligently able to convey information or give advice, and most importantly, it is his incredible smile that he gives to clients. I believe that the Best Bay store receives great bonuses from having such an employee. We wish this young and promising person career success and friendly customers. THANK YOU!!!

Worst Best Buy of them all. I went to buy an air fryer but every customer service agent was so busy chatting with themselves. No one came to help me. So I walked out. And I wasn’t the only one.Go some place else when you want to buy anything

Asked 3 separate employees for help locating an item that the website said was in stock. First pointed to a section and just walked away. After nothing in the section I asked two more people who said "I don't know" and offered no other help and again walked away talking to each other.Absolutely terrible service.

I am a very frequent Best Buy and Geek Squad customer. This location has consistently not been knowledgeable about their policies and processes. Went here to make a claim on my malfunctioning device, took an hour to fill out 1 form when I was the only customer - every single person I spoke to was clueless. Turns out my device was still under manufacturers warranty so I had to go back and pick up my device to deal with the manufacturer now. I think proper training on these processes would be helpful so there’s a bit more efficiency as this is not the first or second time. I only come here since it is the closest location but honestly go to Waterloo location instead of you have to.

I have always liked visiting this store. It is stocked well, tidy and always has what I am looking for. When we came to purchase a TV and gaming computer for my son we had a group of staff members helping us and they were all great people that we really enjoyed dealing with.

This is an awesome location, minus the fact they open at 11am. WAY too late IMO for a business such as this to be opening. I showed up at 10 am, went and grabbed a coffee, came back and watched customer after customer try the doors. Lots of lost sales.

i bought laptop from the bestbuy and it stop working after 24 days and i tried to return that laptop to the bestbuy and did not get answer for that.i tried from customer care online and i did not got any satisfiesd answers and this was my bad deal ever.i found a blue screen coming on my laptop of HP envy and it is came after just restarting the laptop. it is basically the hardware or disk problem that will cost me a lot if it is not returned.

There are lot of choices available at fair prices. Limited customer support employees at the store. I reckon they need to work on providing some space for customers to rest while wandering looking for their desired choice.
